Rico enjoyed his walk with Ty today, as ever he's a busy wee lad but he did have time to have a sniff of Ty and walk nicely alongside before something else caught his attention  :D

Little Rico was such a good boy today. He had to be extra patient as I had harnessed him and then had to leave him to go and sort something else. he was as good as gold in the kennel and out on the walk. He has calmed a lot since he first came and is getting more focussed on his walker and slowing down to take in his surroundings. He seems to want to play with the other dogs and never shows any more than just a passing interest in them.
This boy is progressing well  Smile

AWWW, Rico is such a cutie. I walked him yesterday. He was really enthusiastic to have his harness on in his kennel and when we got out into the fields he was soooo happy. His little tail was wagging and he really enjoyed his time out. He is a lovely boy to walk and he did wait while I clambered over the styles. He loves to explore his surroundings and has the most adorable little face. So pleased you were able to take some pics. I did attempt to take photos but just got the back of his head every time. He is not the easiest dog to photograph but is a real little stunner, fingers crossed he will find his forever home soon. x

RICO is high octane, he's full of energy and life, wants to run and play, if you walk him he's very active, loves to play, you can see with a bit of training he would respond well, if you stop he will stop and wait. He knows his name and shows he's listening to you. Great character

Rico loved the snow, he enjoyed chatting to the Jack Russel who runs over guns blazing then says hello nicely  Smile

Rico actually found a stick to his liking today but was happy to swap it for a treat. As always a busy busy boy.

Right where do I start with this little jack in the box. I took Rico out this weekend, I was walking him and had to keep stopping to check his face, calling his name, because it was a different dog. He walked by my side the whole way, didn't pull, bent down to talk to him, he licked me to death, I've never had such a wet licked face. Absolutely brilliant, he has found a new love for sticks which he carried everywhere. It's very hard to get the stick off him though as he thinks it's a game and will go for the bit you want, so may have to be careful. He's a very active dog who doesn't always think, apart from play, play, play all the time. I do think he has a really good heart just needs to be taught to clam down a bit. A massive shock to see him the way he was, could of happily kept on walking him.

Lucky me got to walk Rico Tuesday, such a happy lively dog who seems to have decided he needs to carry a stick these days. He is very food orientated so quickly drops if you offer a treat  :D

Rico headed straight for his stick today, found right where he'd left it Tuesday but it was a big stick and Rico is a small lad thus not too surprising when he decided there were better things to be doing than carrying a stick around  :D

ooo what's that?

A smile even though I've chopped his ears off Embarassed

Rico is a busy little bee of a boy. But once he has had his walk, he sits in his bed peeping out at you  Mr. Green a real cutie pie, who would love someone to play with - he really would make a fun addition to a family.

My walking day isn't complete without a date with Rico, he seems to be more settled in his walks these days, he enjoys the company of other dogs, he seemed quite at ease with Daisy today and she him, he likes a stick

but best thing in the world is treats
