Homed

Homing requirements: Gloria needs stability; a family around her focused on her needs. She can get stressed when left but is not barky and will focus on a comfort item: With awareness and routine she is settling. A little precious of her 'chews' again, but its becoming less of a feature. Could live with children and another dog. Not cat tested.

Her Story: Gloria was found stray and unclaimed. She is now spayed and vax'd. Currently fostered with an older Staffie in Brighton.

Advert: Gloria is a sensitive settled Staffie sweetheart! She loves to meet and greet both people and dogs. Delighted to meet children and walks regularly with a dog walker and her 7 year old daughter. Sasha will be an off lead dog once settled and is a good mixer. Her fosterer works and she is successfully being left for 4 hour periods together with her old Staffie friend.

Gloria is a pretty brindle small Staffie with humility. She is around 2 years old and welcoming of activity, adventure AND affection. She is a giver with her heart on her sleeve and impresses everyone she meets. We are looking for an 'at home' or 'be with' situation for her or a part-time worker. With continued practice on leaving she is settling being left as she has  learned do in her seaside foster place.

Interested in re-homing? Please click to complete our on-line homing questionnaire to match a suitable dog with your lifestyle.

Please visit Gloria's thread on our forum to find out if still available and for fuller details. For daily updates Click our forum link and you will find the full range of dogs available for homing

Please note this dog is currently in boarding kennels and is also available for foster until a 'forever' home is found

***PLEASE NOTE: We are a rescue finding dogs their forever homes. We usually ask for a minimum donation of £150 at the time of adoption, for each dog, to help us continue helping homeless dogs.

See Gloria's thread below: Watch her progress through our Rescue
Referral Details: This dog is a gorgeous Staffie, her picture does not do her justice she is 2 years old and her name is Sasha. She is very laid back and not over the top like a lot of her fellow breed. She is completely housetrained her kennel is always spotless she is brindle in colour She has had some training!!!!!!! Sasha is chipped unable to locate her previuos owner.

Gloria comes in for spay tomorrow. She is then going into foster with Doogs in Brighton tomorrow evening.

Gloria Staffie DOB 02.10 Brighton Foster

Chinquest (Margaret) kindly drove Gloria down to meet Eve and Doogs.

Here is Eve's email after Margaret left

Hello, Gloria has been here 2 hours. What a pretty girl she is; slight build, beautiful brindle coat. Nose perhaps a smidgeon long for pure staff but who cares? She is adorable.

Doogs is Mr Chill. I am just amazed at how totally laid back he is about all these foster girls  who come and share his home. After a quick Hello he stepped back and allowed Gloria to check out his chews, and then went back to bed!

Gloria has had an eventful day with her spaying and then coming to live by the seaside. She had a nice meal of biscuits and meat, and then cuddled up to me on the settee. She of course was a little restless at first. ears pricked listening to every sound; but now she has let sleep overtake her and she is dozing next to me. Two snoring staffs and a good film on tv; life doesn't get better than this! xx

Gloria is a real sweetie, we chatted to each other all the way to Brighton, found myself telling noone 'nearly there' on the way back  Smile

Gloria was delighted to find a comfy bed with chews

It was Doogs bed and Doogs half finished chews, did he mind? Not one bit

Hi. That beautiful BT is actually blind and was an absolute sweetheart! One of Gloria's many acquaintances while out walking.

Gloria has been staying with me and the lovely Doogs since Friday. She was a little nervous at first (of course) and was alert to every sound. She had just been spayed but you would never have believed it. Not at all sleepy or uncomfortable.

Active girl, but not in a frantic way. She walks beautifully on the lead, and loves meeting other dogs. Very loving and attentive. Not food orientated, though she loves her chews, especially rawhide (Doogs got a bit disgruntled yesterday when she stockpiled all the chews onto her bed)

Gloria is only two, so she is playful. She loves playing ball, and running with other dogs on the beach. She is reliable being let off the lead, always watching where you are and coming back when called.

I think she wouid make a good companion to a young male. She tries to play with Doogs occassionally but the poor old guy is not interested!!]

Is this the Gloria that was with Basingstoke Dog Warden? We were talking to the dog warden about rehoming her last week. Such a shame, she was perfect Sad

Yes I think Gloria came from Basingstoke. She still is perfect! Would make a wonderful family dog.

Especially sweet at night. I go to bed and Gloria goes to the top of my pillow and curls herself around my head!! Then sleeps all night.

Gloria has two loves in her life; playing ball, and going in the sea. This girl can run fast, but always makes sure she can see me and always come back when called. Very good on the lead, never pulls.

She loves her rawhide chews.

I need to take some close up photos as I don't think the ones here do justice to how beautiful Sasha is. She is constantly being admired and people often say their dogs like her when they don't usually get on with other dogs. Gloria cuddles up to Doogs at night.

Gloria is very much a "people dog" and would like to come with me to work. I just wish I could take her!
