Homed

Homing Requirements: Cooper is looking for a terrier family who are understanding of his noise sensitivity and subsequent barking. Cooper is a typical terrier needing secure garden and exit management with secondary barriers. Retained on an extender at all times outside. He has Mild asthma when stressed but relieves itself when calmed.

His Story: Cooper has been owned since a pup. He has grown up with older children and rarely left. The youngest child is disabled and doesn't understand Coopers terrier ways and the others aren't really interested in Cooper. Cooper has lived with a Yellow labrador since it was introduced as a pup 3 years ago. Cooper is neutered and vax'd.

Advert: Cooper has such beauty, a very dear personality with an even temperament on meeting people, children and other dogs. He is compliant and conversant in his lifestyle. He lives in a busy household where he attempts to understand and comment on the comings and goings. None of the children relate to Cooper so he leads quite an aloof observer life, making comment on activity as it goes on around him.

Cooper is Pedigree Lakeland coming with their slightly highly strung ways. He isn't very interested in food or performing tasks for reward. He likes to be near the window and can make dashes for the front door; his observant role bounces to life, if he thinks someone is leaving or possible chance for him to go for a walk. Coopers new family will understand his social commentary,  company and centre their love and attention towards his terrier meeting his needs and loving his ways.

Please visit Cooper Lakeland terrier DOB 07.02.2005 Bonny Scotland  on Our Forum to find out more and follow his progress.

If you are interested in re-homing please complete Our on line Homing Questionnaire so we can ensure our dogs are matched and will suit your circumstances/lifestyle.

What a beautiful boy he is.  When i read his profile it reminded me of my lovely Emma (black patterdale with a wire coat) who i lost 7 months ago.  She was not reward driven either and as for the front door well it was a tactical proceedure to come and go! lol lol.  She too was vocal, loved to be high up so that she could see a true true terrier if ever there was one!!! She could never go off the lead and as for any other furry friends, forget it!

Whoever gives a home to this little boy will have a gem of a friend.  I so wish it could be me, however i've just adopted Tilley and Biscuit from you and also have my little Spot (JRT).

I hope that he gets a real terrier family who understand his ways as i can see he will be an absolute delight. x x x

understanding of his noise sensitivity

Does that mean Radio 3 first thing in the morning, trucks going by when he's at the window ... or just about everything above a whisper?

Just putting the question in case others are too shy. :D  At his time of life he deserves a home with "a perfect fit".
