Homed

Homing Requirements: Trevor needs a terrier experienced family who 'get' his excitable nerves with strangers inparticular and gradually build his skills and confidence. Teddy needs a quieter life style without too many visitors; a terrier proof garden and exit management.

His Story: Teddy was found stray with a muzzle on! He hasn't coped with kennel life and is concerned when new people meet but relaxes better outside but doesn't like sudden approaches but has learn to settle with people. Neutered, chipped and fully vax'd.

Advert: Teddy is a sweetie pie who is young and wants to please. He enjoys training and learning, as this serves his busy mind. He meets dogs well, sometimes shows concern but isn't vocal. He will often fall into play bowing, reminding everyone he is still very puppish. Sadly caught up in rescue when he so needs to be steered into and exploring life and its opportunities.

Teddy is an attractive wirehaired 'Jack' who has certain concerns in his approach to life, that terrier experience owners will help him with. Will need terrier savvy people with older children or infrequent visiting children until he settles with a reassuring atmosphere to climatise him. (Based on his 'not coping' well in kennels but all may change if a foster place comes up). Teddy is lively, cheery and young, so should come through Rescue and out the otherside to find certainity and be a treasured Teddy!

Teddy was nervous to meet his family for 10 split seconds! They delighted in his antics and are thrilled he enjoys toys! Julie, Martin and James went back home with a furry parcel and Sarah who has worked with Teddy for the past 4 months was so pleased to meet his family!

Short Video: taken when the family were prepping for the photoshoot with Sarah who has been working with Teddy

Hi,

Ted is settling in very nicely. He has calmed down a lot from when we first had him. He has boundless energy though still, and loves to play with all his toys. He loves his walks in the woods too.

We wish everyone at Terrier Rescue a Very Merry Christmas!  Xmas Kick

Here's a few photos of Ted. We'll upload more soon.

Love the photos of Ted.  So glad to hear that he has settled. Lots of good luck with Ted.  Happy New Year to you and yours.
