Current Status Available

Homing Requirements: Ollie needs a Staffie family who can enjoy his many gifts and manage him around bouncy off lead dogs when they approach him. He needs to be an only pet. He would delight in his own secure garden.  An opportunist with food, he can open lever doors. Ollie can be left for short periods.

Video: Ollie, one jump, at least, ahead of Wendy with his training!
Video: Click HERE video of Ollie playing

His Story: Ollie owner stood by him for 5 years but couldn't find accommodation with Ollie. He did a 'boot camp' training course in preparation for rehoming. Ollie is neutered; chipped and vax'd. Ollie has had a series of foster placements during his long wait for rehoming and is currently kennelled in Godstone, Surrey.

Advert: Ollie is a great Staffie who loves people.  Ollie welcomes visitors including children though has not lived with children.  He meets most dogs well outside, can get flustered when off lead bouncy, dogs approach him. Ollie is housetrained and manages well when left for short periods.  Ollie loves the car, loves lying next to you on the sofa and loves to sleep on the bed: Ollie is an inclusive dog. Ollie is such a character and he steals your heart.

Ollie is a beautiful 7 year old Staffie with a soft lemon coat. He is chilled and loves relaxing in company. He doesn't like to be closed in and left out, when guests arrive he is convinced they've come to see HIM! Ollie likes to be with you on the sofa and sleep beside your bed! Ollie is trained and has a good command of instructions. Ollie is a really lovely Staffie who so needs his family around him.

It's bath time for Ollie today  Razz. He's not a massive fan of getting soaking wet (Unless there's a particularly tempting ditch) but he absolutley loves getting dried down with a towel - which always turns into a great game and a massive Ollie cuddle! love4

Long walk and hoovering on the agenda today - although Ollie always seems to slip away when there's hoovering to be done but you can guarantee that he'll be bouncing around by the front door if there's a walk to be had!
Ollie has great fun on his walks and is always super enthusiatic! He loves to sniff absolutley everything and investigate the daily happenings in and around bushes. He forgets he's a strong boy sometimes and needs a few reminders about walking nicely but always settles in to his walks well after his initial excitement.
He meets dogs much better now and is quite accepting of smaller dogs coming to say hi as long as you are nice and close to oversee them. He is still wary of bigger dogs and we tend to steer clear and give a few reminders about not fussing when we walk past.
He absolutely loves when people stop and say hi on his walks - which happens quite a bit because he's a very handsome boy! He's got a great repertoire including posing, kisses and just generally looking cute when he's trying to show off Laugh

Ollie got to do his all time favourite hobby yesterday - Sunbathing glasses7
He always makes sure to get all sides lying on both sides and his back and when it gets a bit too hot outside he'll come in and find a good hotspot next to the window where the sun can shine on him. I think he thinks it will make his hair even more blonde and beautiful!

Intellectual Ollie! He's trying to help write reports here but it turns out that kisses and cuddles don't get any work done!

Ollie can always be found with his nose in a bush so when we go out walking we always walk really close to the bushes and trees so he can make sure everythings in order and have a good sniff.

Ollie doesn't often get in touch with his feminine side and he couldn't eat the flowers so he wasn't that interested in them

Wendy walked the handsome hunk that is Ollie yesterday. He was ever such a good boy. He walked with Mags and they both seemed quite content to do their own thing. He doesn't pull at all on the lead and just loves his cuddles and having his tummy tickled.

Well Ollie today he let his fur down and turned into a hippo wallowing in a mud bath.

Video: Ollie having just jumped out of a black mud bath..bless

We had lots of fun with me trying to wash him down with a bucket and sponge on return. Ollie is such a good hearted soul.

Ollie jumped in the front of the dogmobile with me today and we travelled over an hour in each others company. I got quite a few licks and he was settled and enjoyed the scenery. What a lovely boy. We then had a lovely walk in the countryside and he is now in a new kennel where hopefully he will get more walks and being in with the mainstay, with the majority of Staffies might just catch the eye of a Staffie loving family soon ! Wink

I got to walk Ollie today for the first time, and what a sweet boy he is.  flower

He likes being around the other dogs and stopped to say hello to new boy, Hamlet.

We had a throughly enjoyable walk.  Here are a couple of pics to prove it!

The gorgeous Ollie for me again today, he is really good at ignoring many distractions but when a cat ran across our path it was really too much not to try and chase  :D
