Wendy gained her rescue place because Stella needed to come to Surrey 4paws arranged things in Wales and met me half way and we thought we'd see who needed to hitch a ride. Kirstie remembered little Wendy on her list with a pound they dont regularly work with. So so pleased it was Wendy. Here is Kirstie and Wendy

Wendy travelled through Hampshire to drop Stella off then we went on to Christabels to collect Rozie but also for Christabel to start treatment. So Wendy is now Chipped, 1st Vax'd, wormed and her ears were cleaned out (and how) She hasnt been cared for ; has had at least 2 litters one 6 weeks before she was placed in the pound. Wendy is going to be cared for at last. She is booked in for spay next Wednesday.

She adores dogs and people and children. An "off lead" dog with 'awareness and connection'.

You will be able to see from this picture all her teeth except the back 2 have been worn down to stumps so her jaws is just flat like gums. ?Carrying sticks or chewing bark or wood

Ok so the foster door was opened to this little one for a couple of weeks before I go away. I figured at least she could be crated if I have to go out on one of my pre wedding jaunts.

Met with Lynne and saw the new dog car which is brilliant. Met lovely Ali12345 as well as Alyson the kennel owner and her lovely GSD's

Met with all RR dogs in kennels which was a real treat.

Took Wendy back home with me only to return to a call that she had started bleeding in her last day in kennels. So a quick dash to the vets to check nothing serious and that it was just her season starting. It is just that which is good news but also bad as now we can't  spay as fast as would have wished. So as she is an escape artist she is not allowed in the garden on her own at the moment.

A lovely dog introduced with my pack very well - so far so good. Very loving but  had to give her a bath as very doggy smelly. So she has had a very busy day but is an utter love. Very good with people and dogs.
Will do photos over the w/e but she is a honey.

Another opportunity for Jilly's favourite brand of raspberry doggie shampoo me thinks plus a few pics of the results for good measure I hope.  Well done Jilly ... glad you chose to foster her  Laughing

This little madam was found walking the kennel corridor this morning having managed to get up and through a 6 inch gap at the top of her kennel door 8' high. Little Miss Mischief!

(Photo will appear here as soon as Auntie Sharon corrects my rubbish attempt)

[Auntie Sharon here!  You can teach an old dog new tricks, but apparently not Jilly Allen!]

Here is Wendy ...

Are you calling me an old dog ??? Lovely Wendy a very young dog !!!

My vet said today when they are in season they do anything to escape - hence the colditz experience of climbing a 8 foot fence in the kennels this morning. Wendy promises she won't do it again !!!

Wendy has been a perfect house guest. She is perfect with the other dogs completely acting like she has always lived with them. Very loving has a big crush on my husband which is so nice to see. Loves everyone. Eats well loves going in garden and performs every time. Completely clean.

First foster I ever had to have first night out of crate in bedroom. Rex does not like to share his bed but she tried to eat her crate and her teeth are gnawed down from her past so we had a little talk.

She tried to get on the bed once I said down - down she got and slept in a dog bed between Milly and Ruby.

Early days I know but this little one is a perfect angel. So in need of loving care to her body condition and her life.

A good bath has done wonders. She smells gorgeous - ran out of raspberry but still did the trick. She loved her bath.

Cannot stress this is a perfect dog - even though as Fred says they are not meant to exist one slips down from Heaven once in a while.

She is here until the 1st of April at the latest as I am off then so please forever home if you want love and the best dog in the World I have her here waiting for you.

LOL. Yes very true but not usually at the start of the season - can not wait to see what exactly she does in the 3rd week - every one knows that Terrier promises are flighty!! LOL

Still one look in those gorgeous eyes and i would believe everything she says too!!   Laughing

Wendy continues to be a star. She is just lovely with everyone. My son came home for Mothers Day and she was straight over to him looking for love. She is so good natured and just desperate to be loved by everyone.

Brilliant with the other 3 dogs and just walks around with them as though they have always been her doggy family.

Beautiful nature and perfect doggy companion.

Wendy still being the perfect house guest. She is helping me garden at the moment which for me means heavy pruning and lifting and for her and my 3 lying flat out on a bed in the sun.

Its a dogs life - well its a very good dogs life.

She still needs a forever home or foster as I can only have her to the end of the month so I hope some wonderful home will come forward.

She is so good with the other dogs and loves people loads so a very easy dog.

Rex bored when surrounded by 3 women.

He also asked if the next foster would not keep stealing his ball when he is playing with it please. Sushi always did and now Wendy runs very fast to grab it before he can reach it.

No wonder he is yawning.
