We have been invited to run a stall at Marish Primary School in Langley, near Slough.
It is the school's annual fete and runs from 4pm - 7pm. (The theme this year is dance)
I am happy to run with this one but would welcome a helper (I know our 'Essex Girls' are already booked that day )
It won't be massive but as it is an area we haven't covered yet, I thought I would take up the invitation.

All sorted for this one now. I have enlisted my little ones and big sis to help out
I have also declined the offer of using the areana so it will be a pretty straight forward selling job |

Err, hope its you - this one runs from 4pm - 7pm and it's over an hour away. Mind you, hopefully you could be out celebrating a good day and I might get back before you
I think I'm just about ready -
Posters printed
Headers done (as I don't have the banner )
Business cards, done
Tombola ticketed (at last )
Everything else priced
Have a Putt and Help a Mutt all ready to go
Now what have I forgotten

Will be thinking of you Karen. Hope everything goes well.
So far over the last 4 weeks we have brought in £855, am hoping the with both the events tomorrow we can top the £1,200 mark - that means we need to do £172.50 on each event! Will pull out all the stops.
Rendezvous on the forum at some point tomorrow night (no pressure if you finish late) - sincere good luck vibes being sent your way _________________ SHARONR - ADMIN

Finally got home and two very tired little helpers tucked up in bed Unfortunately the weather was not quite so kind to us so the event ended up finishing early. As a result we only had 2 hours 'trading' time.
However we managed to take GBP 149.73
We had to abandon the idea of the gazebo as the wind was very strong all day so my signage was not quite as good as I would have liked, but the local paper have taken a photo of me and some tombola customers with the board in the background. Hopefully it will be published as she did stop and chat and take all our details
I am so grateful to my little sis (who invited us) for giving us by far and away the best spot and for plugging our stall throughout over the loud speaker
My big sis, hubby and brother-in-law also did a fantastic job helping out on the stall. Although we didn't make target, we were really busy in the time we had. Kids, as always were great
'Have a Putt to help a Mutt' seemed to work really well. When it got quiet I got the kids to do it and then others seemed to watch and then want a go.
It was a shame the heavens openned at 6pm and there was a mass exodus and a rush to get everything under cover before it got soaked.
But other than that a good day was had by all |

Oh Karen you all did so well considering the weather, absolutely amazing. Thank you so much.
That means we have a 5 week total of a wonderful £1,108.23 and we still have two events to go next week _________________ SHARONR - ADMIN

A picture from the day - funnily enough, one of the ladies in the picture is the photographer from the local paper
