Harris gettting on fabulous!!!

Family love him to bits and already know that distraction works soooooo well with terriers rather than full on confrontation.

He has his own spot on top of setteee so that when every one is out he can keep a very careful eye on the dratted neighbourhood cats!! LOL

He is doing very well with all visitors and has a new duck friend (obviously not real come on he is a terrier!!) who he is sharing around with everyone!!

So delighted for this lovely, lovely boy  Laughing

Totally ruined!  or Holier than thou

Hi Lynne & Dee,

It's been a year since we took Harris from you so we thought we drop you a few lines to let you know how he's got on.
A lot has happened to Harris since we last spoke and he's been on a few adventures, he's been deer stalking with me twice and absolutley loved it, he's also been on holiday with us where we discovered he loves the sea and swimming in it.

He's really calmed down and his two best friends are a Rottweiller called Rio and a Husky/Akita cross called Max, we go out walking every Wednesday and Sunday as a group and he loves it.
When we first got him we couldn't walk past a dog without him wanting to fight but all that is a thing of the past now. He also has a friend called Meg who's a Jack Russell that comes stalking with us.
It's the start of the shooting season so he'll be busy now until the end of January, we are also going deer stalking in November for 3 days. I can honestly say I have never seen a dog so happy as him when he's out with me shooting/stalking.

He has made such a big impact on our lives and we wouldn't be without him, last Friday evening we had 5 people come round to the house and all were greeted with a fuss and licks a big difference from a few months ago.
He loves my Dad and always greets him with a fuss, I put it all down to socialising with him more and more.
He has nipped 2 people since we've had him, both were visitors to the house, that's when we decided to really push the socialising more and it's paid off.
Apart from the nipping incidents I can't really fault him, we've been really patient and not rushed things with him and made a big fuss when he's done something good.
I can't tell how much we love him, and what an impact he's had on our lives, Tracy spoils him rotten and treats him like a baby and I give him all the fun and adventure when we go shooting as well as a bit of rough and tumble when we play fight, I always end our play fights with the word LEAVE and he stops straight away no matter how excited he gets.
I'll send you some pictures through of him.
I would love to adopt another when we are in a position to be able to reduce Tracy's hours at work, fingers crossed that will be soon.

A big thank you for letting us have him he's a star and we both love him very much.

Paul and Tracy
