11th December Thursday

Benson came into our care today . He was neutered and chipped.  Now in Croydon kennels.
Sorted Cassie's vax papers out; she goes into foster with view to homing tomorrow
Rosie's new family passed their checks all set up for Saturday afternoon colection
Kadin was returned to kennels as couple appreciated their circumstances are not able to focus on a dog currently.  Kadin had a good time and proved himself a star.
Homecheck set up for tomorrow for ?a staffie
Molly and pups doing well

The diary doesn't show the current stresses on my dogs and myself.  I have been out the house and in the car most days this week.  Back and forwards to the kennels; the vets; and then home;  Home; the vets and then kennels.  All kennels are 45 to 90 minutes drive each way. Yesterday I left the house 7.20 am got to the kennels at 8.25 (Croydon) picked up Tiger Lily on to Chessington to pick up Kadin to the vets then on to a homecheck then home 12.30.  Back in the car 3.00 to collect from vets then on to kennels for 5.30. Got back home 7pm.
Today left house at 8.30 am to the police station to collect Benson then on to vets where I needed to walk him then left him returning home 10.30. Back in the car 3pm collect Benson then on to the kennels for 5.15 back home by 6.45.
We need transporters who can help our dogs but they need to be available at the drop of a hat to 'make it happen' The added advantage with myself transporting is I really get to know the dog as they always travel in the front passanger seat so we can chat!

I feel guilty as I really don't have time for social chat or even to contact recent homings to check all is well.  Dee does some of this day after homing and further if concerned. But there is many a dog remembered and we'd would love to know how they are faring.
