|
|
Homing requirements: Digger is a bouncy puppy dog who needs an active family to enjoy his energy and train him to succeed not fail. He might enjoy living with another dog. He definitely needs his own garden and to live with people to have time to offer him.
His Story: Digger was found stray. He is neutered, chipped and just being vax'd.
Advert: Digger is an extra special terrier. He needs an active home who want him to join them in the outdoor life and on occasions spend shared evenings curled up on the sofa with them. Digger, like our other dogs who we saved from death row, has not been assessed in a home environment. His instincts however are very well meaning and he looks for direction and approval at every turn. One month's hard work and you'll never look back; as you would have made the man and achieved a friend FOREVER.
Digger has a lot of love to offer and we are looking for a family who want a dog central to their lives; not to sleep in their kitchen and 'know their place'. He is fun, he is funny and if your sense of humour doesn't rejoice then perhaps he is not the right dog for you as Digger is to be enJOYed. Digger has character like terriers do!
Please visit Digger Terrier x DOB 10 Checkendon Barks! in our Forum to find out more about him and follow his progress.
If you are interested in re-homing please complete Our on-line Homing Questionnaire so we can ensure our dogs are matched and will suit your circumstances/lifestyle.
Referral Details: Terrier Cross Male Date Found Stray 28th May
Colour White with Black patches over the eyes
Digger is booked in for snip, chip, vax and vet check on Thursday 9th June _________________ You can't train the terrier out of a terrier..they are their own persons!

Digger came with us the the vet on an hours journey and travelled so well in a crate in the back. He is a Jack Russell cross only in the sense he is a bigger more bulky Jack Russell and I have to say he could be Bullseye's brother they are that similar and he was found stray within 5 miles of Bullseye's home.
He is lively and a happy soul. He meets dogs well and will soon be homed I'm sure. Super boy. _________________ You can't train the terrier out of a terrier..they are their own persons!

| Well, how could I not walk the only terrier on the block although he is a big boy he is full of terrier curiousity and bounce and just wants to take in everything at once as terriers do. He is a lovely boy with a lovely rough terrier coat and definitely a terrier character to match. Love him |

| What, all this rain and not a wellie around to show his size? Could he win over a grumpy (temp) invalid and (perm) jumpy cat, d'yer think? I only ask because I'd quite like to know ..... (and would I have to rename the cat Travis?) |

| Looks as if he should come with his own wellies ... and not too big for a cat to cope with (thinks). OK, where does the queue start? |

| Well Digger is a little whirlwind of a terrier. He was overjoyed to be out and he let his presence be known to all by having a playful bark and hello. Then he got on with his walk -which in true terrier style included jumping for joy and going round in circles. Straight lines are not his thing! He is a loveable, jolly, fun little dog that will make you smile! |

New walker Kelly and I took Digger out this morning, lovely lively boy interested in everything, didn't mind the rain one bit and despite the wet grass decided he needed to roll around in it

I noticed Digger was much calmer today as there were no other dogs around, so no potential playmates. He so wants to play!
He was however his usual bouncy, happy, smiling, tailwagging self, running around enjoying everything a walk has to offer. Such a sweetie (although not smelling so sweet after he rolled in something and then decided to share and thought I would like to be covered in it too- thanks Digger ! ) |
