What a treat, a walk with Bruno, such a special boy who really enjoyed a drink and a paddle.

Well, to say that Bruno was pleased to see me yesterday was an understatement
After numerous cuddles I managed to get his harness on - thought I'd try a route that I knew he wouldn't have done before which he thoroughly enjoyed....sniffing, running and just generally having a lovely time
Bruno would love to be out of kennels - he needs to have regular exercise as he loves his walks, is happy in the company of other dogs and is a genuinely loyal boy |

Bruno is a dog with so much potential. He needs an active outdoor lifestyle, some further training and he will be superb. With long walks and somewhere to run free he would be such a happy and trainable dog and someones very best friend and companion.
Bruno walked well on the lead today stopping to take in everything along the way. He calmly passed the horses which all seem to be on the path and when I stopped to take some photos he took treats so gently giving his paw and enjoying some much deserving fuss.
The different sides to Bruno.......
serious
soft
alert
cheeky

I can't praise Bruno enough, he's so excited at the prospect of a walk he virtually puts his own harness on, then off where he walks ahead but doesn't pull. He takes everything in but nothing phases him. He loves his treats and has learnt to take them gently.

It's no secret that Bruno is a favourite boy of mine. I just love this dog and feel sorry for him being in kennels when he would make a great pet. Today I asked someone to take my picture with my Bruno and cos its nice just to pretend that he is my dog - even if only for a day!! Lovely Lovely Boy XX

Bruno is great fun to walk. Last week he picked up a stick to carry which made Rico very jealous as he wanted it. Bruno was very proud of his stick.
Today Daniel was in front and picked up what looked like a fish and chip paper but got bored with it quickly and dropped it, much to the delight of Bruno who then picked it up and carried it proudly for a short distance.
Bruno is always such a happy busy boy on his walks, never wasting a minute but always ready to stop for a cuddle.

Bruno has matured so much since he's been with RR, he's learnt to be patient, ask for a paw and these days you get one paw. He has learnt to wait quietly for a treat and no longer tries to steal the lot He's is just one big gorgeous happy boy waiting patiently for his forever home.

I was very happy to be taking Bruno out for walk this saturday and although he was excited when I went into his kennel when I asked him to sit he was very obliging especially when I was fiddling about with getting his harness on - an art I'm still trying to master!
We walked through the village and there were lots of people out and about, bruno was very well behaved having a good look up and down at everyone but sticking right by my side, he was obviously in a romantic frame of mind today as he took great interest in some flowers for sale outside one of the houses -such a smooth operator!
Once we got to the village green as the rain hadn't set-in I thought we'd take a seat on the bench for a photo opportunity and by the 2nd attempt he'd perfected the perfect smile - this boy is a natural!
