Hello Milly Moo
It looks like I will have to cook your chicken on Friday so that its ready for you when we pick you up on Saturday morning. You can share our sofas for a few hours and have plenty of kisses and cuddles.
I would like it to be for longer but my mum and dad can only have Oz for a few hours.
How lovely for Milly , and all those lovely photos on her thread help to give a good rounded overview of her for her 'forever family' _________________ Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see. ~Mark Twain
I walked Milly for the first time today. What a beautiful dog. As well as being gorgeous, she is so well behaved and friendly. She wasn't fazed by the fact she had just met me, and walked alongside me for large parts of the hour we were out. I really enjoyed her company out walking, and I hope she enjoyed mine. I look forward to more walks with her until someone comes along and sees how great she is and takes her home for good. I have been told she is OK with cats, so hopefully I will be able to take her for a weekend in the near future. On first impressions I think she has so much to offer anyone who can give her a home.
Be careful what you say - we'll all be round for Saturday lunch - sounds like Milly is going to get more attention this Saturday than I have had in months
We went back to the kennels for the first time in a couple of months and Millie looks amazing! Her coat is shiny and clean, her eyes are clear and bright and she just looks really healthy.
This little lady is very very ready for her home and I'd love to see her settled before winter.
She is a gentle lady who makes a real connection with you when you are walking her - she can be a bit pully at the start of the walk but after a couple of minutes she settles down and stops to smell the flowers
Millie is a pretty and very clean dog - she loves a cuddle, to play and to make the most of every second outside.
She's more than ready for her home and she's ready for her forever family. She thrives on being around people and is very well mannered.
She is ready for her home and I hope there is someone out there ready for her soon.

I know Rescue Remedies is sooooo about the dogs and not the people/walkers/friends, but I have had a great big break through this weekend - I MANAGED TO NOT CRY WHEN WE TOOK MILLY BACK TO HER KENNEL
We had to change our plans a bit this weekend as my mum and dads cat had to have emergency dental surgery this week and would not have coped with Oz in his house the day he got back from the vets, so we made the most of the lovely warm sunny weather and took Milly out for a few hours in Grayshott again.
Pictures to follow when my phone has charged.
Smallwren, I agree with everything you say, she does look in lovely condition and is sooo "in touch" with her person.
Keith and I think she knew who we were as she did lots of running on the spot when she noticed us, rather than her usual bouncing like a bullet around her kennel.
THIS GIRLIE REALLY NEEDS HER OWN FAMILY AND HOME AS SHE HAS SOOOOO MUCH TO OFFER. PLEASE HELP HER.

Here are a few pictures of Milly Moo's saturday. Enjoying her roast chicken lunch on the village green.
There is also a purfect picture that could win her "rear of the Year"
DID I MENTION THAT I LOVE HER?

Milly was my first walk of the day and we had a lovely time. Early morning sunshine and the woods to ourselves, sheer bliss. After about an hour we decided to head back but luckily for Milly I took a wrong turn, I blamed it on the tree felling (!) and we ended up having another 40 mins or so!!
Milly couldn't believe her luck and the last half an hour was truly special - she was happy to just trot along next to me, run ahead and then back for a smile and a cuddle. She really is a lovely girl and despite being long overdue her special home she is always a happy happy girl.
Milly is looking really well. Her coat is gleaming, she looks much happier and she's definitely more relaxed now. Just shows what a difference time out of kennels makes Thanks Ozmum (and dad!) - you're both stars
