I told Kathy all about the wonderful people who have taken up her cause as we walked this morning. I took her snorts as her way of saying 'thanks'
Perhaps she also meant some of the many cuddles she gave me for them too
When we got back, she was as good as gold and took a chew straight back to her bed and settled with it. Lovely, lovely girl |

How lovely to think that Kathy has admirers overseas!
She enjoyed a good walk this morning, paying close attention to every squirrel within a two-mile radius....and of course sniffing the ground when she wasn't squirrel seeking! |

Kathy had a good week last week - she had some wonderful walks and has made many doggie friends out in the woods. On Friday she made friends with a Dalmation.
She is full of energy now and her coat is very slowly recovering, although the hair regrowth seems to have slowed down somewhat. After our walk this morning, we tried a coat fitting session. Unfortunately the only one that really fitted her properly, she objected to and had removed within about 5 minutes of getting back to her kennel I think she wants Trinny and Suzanna |

After our walk today, I cat tested Kathy - don't think she could live with cats |

I've just been out on my first walk for rescue remedies and thank you to Janet for showing me the ropes. My boyfriend and our dog sonny came down and we took Kathy out. The first thing that hit me was how much she reminded me of sonny when we got him, the hair loss and being a bit underweight but also they are both brindle staffs and looked gorgeous together.
Kathy is such a lovely dog, so well behaved, really nice to walk and so good with people and dogs, which we saw plenty of! She sits and lies down when asked and doesn't even pull very hard on the lead (compared to Sonny)
We had a nice long walk and by the end of it Sonny and Kathy were walking right next to each other, when we got back the treats came out and some pictures were taken, Janet said she'll post them up for me, thank you again! I really hope Kathy finds herself a wonderful home, she really deserves it, I wish I could take her home myself, Sonny and her make a gorgeous couple. It was a bit sad to remind me of how Sonny was treated and that a dog as lovely as Kathy has been through some very bad things but seeing how much people care is great and knowing she will never have to go through that again makes me smile, and makes me even more determined to help |

Aw, thanks janet, my other half is Korb but don't worry everyone thinks he says Paul!
Kathy is so lovely and I think sonny's missing her, he's been moping around since we left. I've been trying all afternoon but still not allowed another dog, Kathy deserves such a good home bless her |

Took Cathy for a lovely long walk today and have to say her coat is looking so much better. She's a complete sweetie and wasn't even phased by all the loud banging from the firing range - they were really going for it this morning! She looks back to check me every now and then, and of course treats are good too! She is extremely gentle with treat taking.
She loves just strolling along and we both ran up the hill together, me clearly not as fit as Cathy as I felt she just wanted to keep going and going and going! Well squirrels are so much fun!
She sat very patiently while a fiddled about trying to unlock her kennel (what am I like!) and went in with a lovely chewy to keep her entertained.
Little sweetheart deserves a lovely home.
