I somehow missed the above wonderful pictures and write up! Thank you Colleen.

Evette went for a drive again yesterday to seek out new kennels. When we tried to bring Marie and her together again Marie was insistent on barking at her and we decided sadly that these 2 chums are best apart from now on with the tempo of kennels and the pent-up energy kennels denote.  So Evette can chillout..in the comfort of her kennel..and await her new family.

Evette has come on so much now. She is after all the fuss and attention she can get  Very Happy  A little bit overpowering at first but she is so affectionate and soaks up all the fuss you can give her especially if she can give you big friendly licks.   Walks nicely on the lead most of the time. Not bothered by the sheep. Lovely to see her come out of herself more.
Alison

Evette had a lovely walk this morning and some really precious cuddles. She met a lovely Lab. and they easily got to know each other. She meets dogs so calmly 'cool'

A family came with their older staffie. They walked lovely together and fine off lead other than firstly ball on rope caused both to try for it; then ball in pocket set up tension. Resolved quickly and both then began to respect each other boundaries. It was a good overall meeting..2 dogs need to build trust and the focus being on developing this trust over time. The family must feel confident to manage the situation- through to harmony. A very worthwhile meeting.

Hope its ok for me to post on here, but just wondering how Evette is doing, is she kept near Gatwick? also can I ask if she is 1 year old or 3 as there seems to be conflicting info.
Sorry for all the questions, but just sponsored Evette, and I am hoping and praying she is found a forever home.

Please give her a big hug from me.

Please remove post if im not allowed to write here.

thanks wendy

Evette was found stray so we cant say her age for sure. Her personality is very calm so we had thought she was about 3-4 yrs but her teeth look pristine and suggests about 1 yr. Magnificant dog.

Evette stopped for lunch with Alison, Tiffany and I. She behaved impeccably, taking food nicely, and walking in perfect harmony with Tiffany. A minor moment when she wanted to sit on my lap as I was eating, buit very good natured calm and friendly at all times.
