He has the makings of a good defender! Gardening definitely not a career option despite enthusiasm due to eating everything! |

hahahaha - I suspect he has the same problem with football
The 'enthusiasm' has made me laugh - you're right... whenever dogs join in with anything in the garden, it's always with a huge amount of enthusiasm but usually zero talent...
One of my dogs tried flower arranging but really her ideas were too avant-garde for me... I like my flowers stems down in the vase for a start... _________________ "Plus je vois les hommes, plus j'admire les chiens."

It's the first time I have ever planted bulbs at the right time of year, just to stop him trying to eat them!! |

When he learns digging that might fail as a technique.
I love the photos and the updates - I hope you keep them coming!! _________________ "Plus je vois les hommes, plus j'admire les chiens."

Aw bless his heart - he just looks so very happy.
Thank you Jane and delighted that after we have honed his housework skills you are now working on the gardening skills _________________ Dee

Thanks everyone! After football training and gardening on Wednesday we went to work! What a superstar, has loads of new fans, hardly any work got done but lots of puppy love! The residents love him, he was so well behaved. In the garden at work he will follow me to heel and come when called, so good. And no accidents, so I didn't have to face the wrath of the housekeeper. forgot to say that before leaving for work he managed to jump in the pond, both covered in foul green water, so too the kitchen floor!! Managed to get himself out before I started wading. One of the nursing home residents misheard his name and told me off for calling him 'Tomato'!!
And Today, well we went to see Olivia and Boris, and just to say that Olivia and I have been in stitches this afternoon and it will become a regular event! They moved so fast the pictures are blurred at times but the first one sums it up!! They ran and ran and played and fought and were puppies together! (please ignore dates on pics - it's wrong!)

Have to say that Jane and Olivia you've kept me laughing during a tiresome week with your photos and stories of Boris and Tomato...
Presumably all the tomatoes he's been eating have changed Marco's appearance... _________________ "Plus je vois les hommes, plus j'admire les chiens."

Glad to see that Dee's training and his dustpan brush fetish is still evident!
