Confused Well, we think we are there  Confused Putting game went missing (thankfully now lcoated) and Belle decided to eat the entire supply salmon biscuits right down to using the ribbon as dental floss Rolling Eyes Do you think she needs lessons from Lucie on being taster Wink

Janet has worked her socks off to replace them - still at least we can honestly say they are irressitable Wink

Weather forecast is good and we are hoping that Stanley will be able to join us for the day so fingers crossed for a good day Laughing

Confused Well, today was both good and bad - in the morning the weather was great, then the clouds rolled in and the wind got up and before it was even openning time, it was freezing Exclamation So Janet put in a quick call and the first 'thank you' of the day goes to Alwyn and Janet's sister Lynne who arrived with a supply of warm clothes for us (Alwyn even got the colour co ordination right for me Wink )

Janet and I did intend to pick up Stanley from the kennels so he could spend the day with us but when we arrived there were signs everywhere saying 'No Dogs'. We thought it was odd and as the afternoon wore on more and more dogs appearred. It turns out the signs were left over from a music festival last night but by the time we realised that it was too late to go and get him and get him back before the kennels closed. So that was a big shame. Sad

However, as always the tomabola was very popular and the putting game (price doubled from 50p to a pound) did well. We also sold a few doggies items or the final amount raised was

GBP 211.00

A huge thanks to Janet and her family - Janet worked so hard doing the liver cake and biscuits and we had some fun together today, Lynne turned out to be the bestest seller of the treats and Lynne and Alwyn were an excellent support team. Thanks everyone Exclamation

Whow   sounds a very postive day but yes  you get a sense this morning and this afternoon autumn arrived.

(I walked Stanley this pm so I'd hate to think you had tried and then found his kennel empty!)

Thank you, Lynne Exclamation

Lovely photos of Bella and Paddy in their new beds too - no more biscuits, Bella, otherwise you will out grow it Rolling Eyes

I decided two things today -

1. I am going to try and dye the awning of my gazebo red - it will fit better with our literature.

2. We need a second banner. I think we missed some doggie people today because they passed to far away to see what we were about. Before I investigate - does anybody have a contact and any opinion on design? Our current banner does not include Staffie Rescue and that should be on there too now. Please let me know.

Wow!!!! That is FANTASTIC!!!!! Well done!!!! I bet you are all having a well-deserved glass of wine now eh??  Wink

You are brave to try and dye your gazebo!!! I have often thought that it is a shame that ours is blue and not red.

I have been wanting to get a second banner for ages now. I keep trying to go to a shop near me to see how much one would cost but i always get there too late when it is shut!!! I do think that we should include Staffie rescue as it is now a big part of what we do and would draw interest from Staffie Owners/lovers.
