No rosettes for Lucie! She did go in for best rescue and did the "improvers" obedience class. I was sooooo proud of her today!! considering that most others that entered seemed to go regularly to training classes, she did really well! Even managed to do the 30 sec sit-stay and 1 min down-stay (no one was more surprised than me!!! )
Anyway, back to the day! On the stall today were me, my Mum and the lovely Rhea (who brought us a bag of dog goodies for our tombola!!) Her Mum and Dad also stopped by with their dog Sid, a lovely Springer
My favourite boy Moss also stopped by with his Humans He told me he is coming to Paws next week so i am very excited!!! Paul and Annie gave us two money bags of change and some paper money too (they are very naughty!!) but did leave with some liver cake so i am sure Moss thinks it is a fair swap
Some ladies on the stall next to us (Pro Dogs Direct) bought most of our dog harnesses and i made friends with some of their dogs (My Mum said they only loved me for the liver cake i kept feeding them but it's not true!!! They just loved MMEEE!!!! )
For this stall we did a £1 table, dog and kid's tombola, ball in a bucket, dog biscuits and Open a Window and we raised...
are you ready?...
wait for it...
drum roll...
£235!!!!!!!!
Pictures will follow (you know what i am like though but i will try and sort it out ASAP )
Our next event is: Culture in the park, Hampshire, 13th September or Paws in the Park, Hops Farm, Kent 12th and 13th September. Please come along and support us/say hello!!!! |

Wow! What a brilliant total, well done everyone!
Lucie should have been awarded a rosette for being pretty in pink and for being such a well behaved girl.
Moss is very happy with just all the cuddles and fuss, the liver cake is a bonus. As for being allowed to share Lucie's hot dog, I think that was the highlight of his day. When he was dreaming last night I expect he had visions of sausages from heaven.
Paul loved the ball in the bucket game! (He is a grown up really)
Fantastic result all round. |

Will pass that message on to my dad who kindly cut the holes in the wood for the buckets! Another charity had one at an event I helped at and I notice that both adults and kids loved it so decided to make one. My next venture for 2010 events is a "Whack the Rat", but TinaD has a few reservations!
