He'll be taking in the sea air, sitting in his own deck chair eating candy floss tomorrow then. Great news Emma

| You just amaze me Emma. Well done you on another success story it must be so rewarding for you. How many dogs owe their life to Emma I don't know but I hope you realise how important you are to each and everyone one of them. |

Thanks Jilly
Clive turned out to be an extremely sweet dog and although he particularly hated my ferrets in the end, he turned around lovely and loved nothing more than to snuggle up after a hard day playing for a comfy snooze.
He would sleep wrapped around my neck and gave me a guaranteed back ache every night due to his dead weight when he fell asleep. He snored in my ear all night.
His recall on walks was better than any of my dogs put together and he quickly became accepting of strangers.
He ran about like a lunatic or something on permanent speed and welcomed RR's foster puppy in like a long lost friend.
I am happy to say that Clive went to a new home tonight to live with a Shitzu lady. Whilst we were doing the paperwork he clmibed up next to me and hid behind me and finally fell asleep. For the first time in a long time I felt sad to see one of the dogs go. Normally I am happy to see them go off to a new life where they will have one to one care and be treated as they always should have been, but I know that he was truely happy here and to see his face in the car window looking so forlorn as they drove off made me feel insanely guilty that I had passed him on after he had become so trusting of me.
But...there are always dogs to be rescued and taking in rescues and finding their new happy lives fulfills my life so much and each and every one that leaves has a special place in my heart.
Emma
