Zebedee was my 1st walk today, it's a lot easier as his kennel is away from the paddock area, it doesn't interfere with the running of the kennels.
I got him into the harness really quickly today, he was so well behaved. On the the walk he was really keen as usual, but he never pulled hard, just a taut lead. We bumped into a regular walker along the way who dropped him a couple of biscuits, and as usual he behaved perfectly.
He is great fun as a companion, he loves making a fuss of you as well as being fussed himself.

Met Zebedee today..didn't have time to walk him but had a cuddle. Such a lovely lad now happier in the new kennels but knows how to play it to get attention!

(Change of name as former has bad associations in our rescue)

I took Zeb out for the last time today Crying or Very sad  We did a long walk up the front gates of the school, he was on a harness and was great.

At the halfway point I watered and fussed him, at one point he sat up on his back legs, resting his two front paws on my arm, as I was stroking his chest, his eyes started to close as if he was going to sleep, just wish I'd got a video recorder with me.

I can't believe he hasn't had a chance in a forever home, he came close recently but was pipped at the post by another needy dog. His time will come, hopefully soon, and he'll get the home he deserves.
Good Luck Fella Wink

Zebedee was the first to jump into my car yesterday.  As quiet  on the journey well just a little chatter with Winnie. He has lost weight and is now back on his naturediet and should soon pick up again.

Lovely lovely boy..."Scream! How comes you're still with us?"

Took Zebedee for a walk yesterday - lovely to see him again Very Happy
He has matured so much now. So loving, he just adores being stroked. He seems to be taking the move in his stride but at the moment it is all new and exciting for him.  Such a lovely boy.

A lovely walk with a lovely boy  Very Happy  Lots of cuddles which he so enjoys. Every time I see this boy I can't help but think how far he has come and just how much more he could come on in a home environment.  Stability in kennels has helped him mature but now he needs a home to really bloom.

Tom and I caught up with Zebedee for the first time today since he's moved kennels. He was very excited to have us both in his kennel and grabbed the harness just like he's done before to try and start a game of tug! I immediately let it go and not long after he dropped it, realising we weren't playing.

After that he was pretty good about letting us get the harness on and sort his lead out. Had a really good walk - he was interested in the sheep and trying to stare one of them out... then got bored of that game and wanted to get on with his walk. Never hung about for long, though still kept looking back every so often to check we were still there and coming back for a quick cuddle. Well he did insist on walking in front. And happy to go for a run too.

Such a lovely dog, he really would make someone a fabulous friend.
