1st July Wednesday
Picture of the day
Hold on in there MacTarn home coming up as soon as as we can; on the double! MacTarn walking with one of Nikki's (Epsom Canine Rescue)dogs
Sad Story of the Day Long debate today over a dog we heard of that bit its owner hand 3 times holding on and shaking, not letting go. How Joanne and I tried to understand and see a way through, as the owner was in A & E. In conclusion knowing we were its last chance, we decided on the account of 6-7 factors its size; its age; its breed type; its history; its response in the time; severity of injury; currently family circumstance; scarity of resources...sadly the dog had made a fatal error.
Fun Story of the day Quote from a surrender form..."Most of his aggression can now be kept under control apart from food aggression. He is fine with me touching him, removing his bowel etc when he is eating..."

Fun Story of the day Dee and I are usually so attuned not today ... we were talking about a possible foster home I suggested one family and Dee thought of another (Similar dogs names) we were correcting one another for misremember details until we realised different dogs and families! Then it happened again talking at cross purposes ... I said I'm singing hymn no 34 sounds like you're on 45!

Picture of the day A picture we have so wanted to see...Taz has found his family.
Sad Story of the Day Emma has taken 2 Jack x brothers in this weekend who were rejected by the Dogs Trust at 9 months old..It will take Emma less than a week to pull them around. They are young, haven't had a chance, no history of biting only in transit and out of their 'home environmment' they are terrified and could bite in their bewilderment.

9th July Thursday
Picture of the day
Jess BCollie under GA having her foot assessed and redressed Without our exceptional vets where would our dogs be, they offer us reduced prices and really enjoy supporting homeless dogs.
Sad Story of the Day Our sad story yesterday turned into celebrations as Jess was found to just have a severely lascerated leg. She VERY nearly lost her life needlessly.
Fun Story of the day Karen wrote! Little Mac had me in hysterics this morning. Jaspa came out first and we had to wait for some other dogs to have their run. Jaspa and I were doing a bit of training while we waited at the gate near Mac's kennel. He was so desparate for 'his' turn but when Jaspa and I started to do 'sit' 'down' 'stand' etc, I glanced up and saw that Mac was joining in too. It was very, very sweet.
Dogs IN Molly JRT
Dog Movements Roxy from Croydon the Twickenham (Vet) then on to Hillingdon (FVH)
