Laughing Thankfully Stanley has cheered up. Yesterday he was all waggy tail as we set off and he used his special delaying tactics on the way back  Rolling Eyes

He went out with Tia today and they both rubbed along very well - neither seem particularly big 'players' and are happy to do their own thing. On the way back through the kitchen he had to remind me that we hadn't stopped at 'the box' and he hadn't chosen a toy and treat - silly me Rolling Eyes

We walked the lovely Stanley today, first of all with Tia and then we took him in the car to a common nearby. He seems to enjoy riding in the car and he's no trouble at all. My mum walked him most of the time and she said he's about the easiest dog she's ever walked. He didn't pull on the lead and he trotted along quite happily next to her. We thought he seemed a bit fed up to start with but he perked up especially after having some liver cake - his little tail didn't stop wagging Very Happy  He made friends with a couple of dogs on the common and shared treats with them. He's an affectionate little dog, likes people and likes being made a big fuss of. On the way back, he curled up in a little ball on mum's lap and looked so sweet  Smile

Confused Stanley was not impressed with me today. We weren't able to have our usual walk but we spent some time together in his run - he wasn't impressed Rolling Eyes He wanted to go out and used everything he could think of to get me going. Sadly it wasn't to be and eventually he settled for some tummy rubs and cuddles. It was sad Crying or Very sad

Stanley was a very happy chappy today. His tail never stopped wagging all the time we were walking. I think it was probably because he hasn't been out and about for a few days. He was a pleasure to walk as usual only more so today as he seemed to be smiling at us. It's always hard to leave him in his kennel. His turn must be coming up soon.

Stanley had a lovely car journey then several walks by the river today.  He met Gustav 'Livingstone I presume!' and they delighted in each other and disappeared down the stairs to the underground..to go into foster. Gustav's last terrier suffered Sep. Anx. so he knows how to deal with and 'stretch' him. Have fun Stanley.
