Hi there
I believe it is Sam's Beckenham branch of Waitrose that have nominated us. Well done Sam! So anyone visiting that store branch, please remember to put your token in the Rescue Remedies section of the collection box! Every token we collect counts!

Just read it again...
"Waitrose Community Matters
Every month this branch will donate £1000 between three local good causes that you choose.
How does it work?
At the checkout you'll receive a token, which you then place in the box of the good cause you'd most like to support. The more tokens a cause gets, the bigger the donation they receive. You can also nominate good causes to be considered for the scheme in the future. Just pick up a leaflet in store for more information."
So looks like we'll certainly get a share of the £1000
Lets hope we get LOADS of tokens and it counts for a large proportion!!!

Calling all Beckenham based forum members & their families - WE NEED YOU!
If you know someone that shops in that area could you please let them know that this scheme is running for us at Waitrose this month and kindly request that they support us? _________________ SHARONR - ADMIN

I wonder if we could collect tokens from other Waitroses and post them to Sam to be put in our box...?
...or would that be bad form???
I will also put a form in the canary wharf waitrose until they cave in and let us have a box there too |

Just been along to Waitrose in Beckenham and were currently running a close 2nd, with the 3rd charity quite a way behind
(and of course I purchased something and put my token in the RR slot!!)
Really lovely to see Rescue Remedies written up
Also, were the only "animal charity" so hopefully this will pull at the heart strings
I URGE YOU ALL to go along to YOUR local Waitrose and get a form and do the same
Fingers crossed
Sam |

That's great news Sam - everything crossed.
It would be really fantastic if anyone on the forum with a Waitrose near you nominated us too. It's only a short form, not complicated and just needs our name and contact details put on it. Please consider putting in a nomination for us if you can _________________ SHARONR - ADMIN

I have just been to the Waitrose near my work (Russell Square) and picked up a form to complete. Is it still worth me doing this or can RR only have one bite at the moneytree?
If I can still complete do let me know if there is a particualr form of words to use. |

Yes you can still do it - there isn't a limited number of applications and each branch has their own independent choices. Go for it Kate and thank you _________________ SHARONR - ADMIN
