In preparation for the Rescue Remedies sponsored walk, I've been contacting loads of companies for freebies (to sell/give as prizes)

I contacted my local Waitrose supermarket and it turns out they have an initiative at all their local stores. You fill out a local community leaflet (can get correct name if anyone is interested) with details of why you want money, and they have some local groups/charities nominated each month.
Shoppers get a token and when they go through the checkout they vote for the group theyre most interested in with their token.
Each month, £1,000.00 from Waitrose is then split between the 3 groups with the most votes.
SO GET TO YOUR LOCAL WAITROSE NOW AND FILL OUT A FORM FOR RESCUE REMEDIES!!!

Cheers
Sam

Have just filled this form out for my local Waitrose
It's for local groups, and not just charities

Anyone else got a local Waitrose they could try?  I tried Canary Wharf and they gave me some excuses - so am definitely going to hit them again next week  Very Happy

A little bird told me ... Waitrose called today and we have been nominated for their community matters award initiative!  Our details will be up for a month together with two other local community projects and then each will receive share of 1K!

Chuffed to bits!  Thanks Sam for putting a form in and pushing me to do it too!  Very Happy

PS Got anything else up your sleeve?  Laughing
