11th January Sunday

Merlin's Day today
Penny (Lisa) Molly's pup is now reserved
Jack westie is now fostered
Fudge was chicken tested he did 'fair' (Great for a terrier!)
reclaimingrebus & nikki; Marg walked Gatwick kennelled dogs today
Linda and Denise doing well but Denise is confirmed not for cats or guinea pigs
Pooch is improving he was down in the dumps yesterday
Bud has visitors on Tuesday arranging homecheck
Ben had a lovely family come to meet him but not sure.
Toby Lakie (TR) strong lead being followed
Good news on Alfie (Batleigh), Mia and Arthur's homings

12th January Monday

Sad news Dee's Grandfather died today..he raised her as his own.
Fudge's day today (FVH) lets just see how it goes with the chickens..
Peter is now reserved
Poss. foster places being explored for Sebastian and Pooch
Nahla now called Midnight doing really well
Denise is fixated on the cat and guinea pigs
Briefly met Nathan older version of Quintin was my impression -will meet soon
Altercation at the kennels and Honey bless ended up needing surgery on her foot.
Walked Trudy,Pooch, Peter, Buddy and Arnie today

13th January Tuesday

Henna has reached her got-yer-day bless her.. pray she has a few more precious days ... her time maybe coming near
Missy (Delia's) day yesterday love her
Cece went into foster today
Bud homechecked passed today couple travelling to meet Bud Friday from Wales determined he is their dog!
Arnie; Toby Lakie (TR) are now reserved
Strong leads on PT (Peter); Buddy; Charlie
Linda and Denise need to come back into kens as Denise is focused on the cat who is very much needing to get back in its home! Collect on Friday if no home comes up
Ruby booked in for op. tomorrow with Mr Andre re knee
Sebastian arranged for foster viewing tomorrow
Pooch homecheck for foster and goes into foster Thursday
Honey doing well after her op. yesterday
Seems lots of activity at all kennels today with our dogs! Thank you all

Homecheck set up for Flunka (Arnie) for Friday
Homechecks being sorted for Buddy and PT (Peter)
Cassie and Honey moving to Farnham tomorrow
Strong lead for Kadin
Fudge and chickens just fine
Arthur is the most intelligent dog ever!

Charlie was neutered, vax'd and chipped
Pooch went into foster
Honey went into foster
Mia move to Farnham
Batfink moved to Croydon
Donny passed dog test with flying colours
Peter; Buddy and Arnie all set up for Saturday
Committed to Mabel a staffie foster has broken down..comes to Croydon Monday

16th January Friday

Bud's day today Emma is sooo happy
Poacher's owner has decided to keep him
Molly was spayed today
Mia not well kennel cough made worse by distress of move
Ruby's is slowly recovering from knee surgery
Flunka (Arnie) was chicken tested ..not bad; Cat tested and a wee tad excited..but meeting still happening tomorrow after homecheck went well
Vol DogWalkers out in all kennels today Sally; Reclaimingrebus; Loul;Karen; firhillwalker
Linda and Denise first vax'd and returned to kennels
Pooch returned to kennels
Lucky and Lillie details taken from vet they come Monday to Gatwick

17th January Saturday

Penny (Lisa) pup's day yesterday
Buddy, PT (Peter) and Flumka (Arnie) all went into FVH
Great news from Sebastian; Cece; Arthur; Alfie (Batleigh) Jack Flash and Penny (Lisa)
Scrappy came back today
I have to say reclaimingrebus spent at least 4 hours at the kennels today walking dogs and had come in yesterday also!
rescueremedies emails done so quiet on this front!

19th January Monday

Took in Lillie; Lucky and Benny
Fab. news in on Buddy
Missy Rottie up for re-homing

How can a day that was so demanding have such little shared. Flew out the house 7.20 and arrived at the kennels 9.30 having sat in traffic re an accident on A217. Dog to take to the vet had been fed Crying or Very sad

so got in the car without him and got home 11 am. Drama going on about Missy coming back. Placed adverts up and answered phone; left 2.30 Sat Nav would not register destination and took me to the wrong place totally then abandoned it and found my way to kennels to collect dogs in Croydon 4.45 drove to Gatwick kennel long debate with vets about the bitch Lillie and whether we op. spay and remove mammory tumours tomorrow or leave. Ended up bringing Nathan who should have been neutered today to vets for overnight stay so he can be neutered tomorrow. Home at 7.45. Need more transporters; need different Sat Nav. purchasing tomorrow; one of those days where I feel I can't go on..but then the kennels were so helpful and supportive; the vets are arranging Tuesdays as our day for neutering to avoid the Monday pressure..we carry on

20th January Tuesday

Donny was given Peace
Nathan was neutered
Lucky very withdrawn and causing concern but got up and ate a little this evening
Good Staffie home lady went to meet our Staffies in Croydon this pm but apparently got overwhelmed; gave a donation in appreciation of our work and went away to collect her thoughts

Reviewing Dee's workload as unmanageable; needing to make decisions on what is possible and what just can't be done.
