Just a thought, but if you need something to 'sell' on a stall, let me know and I can rummage through all the stuff I have stashed here. I am planning to take the 'doggie' things to The BOSC Dog Fun Day on 24th May but if anything is left over (!) perhaps we could get Tina D to take it up to you as she is amazingly doing both events
Please, Tina D

As Ive said I'll be cake baking so anything else you think may "sell" would mean added money in the coffers for RR |

I was thinking about the dog events that i went to last year to try and think of what made money and there was a stall selling bagged up sweets that went down very well with the kids. My cousin goes to Costco a lot so i could maybe get her to get me a couple of boxes of different ones that we can bag up and sell for a "tidy" profit??
I also managed to get hold of 6 bags of "fish for dogs" for only a pound each!! They usually go for about £5 each! |

Dee advises that there are some of you who want to come along to show your support on Monday
Details of the walk can be found in the attached - RR walk info.doc
If you're coming, why not get some sponsors? form attached - RR SS form.doc
Although it's a sponsored dog walk, we have 2 partakers who are without a dog - I'm happy to stretch the rules to make any extra cash!
Be good to see you ll there - and please pray for sunshine!

Hi,
The walk sounds like a great idea of combining raising runds with advertising RR and walking the dog at the same time!
As we were unable to come along we have signed up to sponsor instead. |

I can say that a good time was had by all!! Lucie is exhausted (as are we all!!!) Sam should be on later to give the total raised on the stall.
Not sure how well we would have done cash-wise but we spoke to some really lovely people and there was some interest in homing/fostering (fingers crossed that leads to something) and we may have another event thanks to a lovely police woman-watch this space...!!!! |

Phew what a day! The weather started out a little touch and go and miracle of miracles it brightened up and we had some lovely sunshine for most of the afternoon!
Sam & her family pulled out all the stops today and we really can't thank them enough for a truly outstanding effort - everything was thought out and planned to perfection. Sam's cakes for the humans were delicious
As always, TinaD gave her total support and brought her lovely mum along to give us a hand. TinaD's liver cake and homemade biscuits were in great demand and sold out as usual!
We also had the pleasure of seeing Blue (JRT) & Trudy (SBT) and their forever owners.
Sam will post later with further details and Tina has some photos.
Lynne has arranged to take Deakon (Staffie) who was at high risk in a Northern pound on the basis of today's event - for me that makes today all the more worthwhile
Well done everyone and a big THANK YOU!
