I think you'll enjoy that!!! You can find out how you feel about it all and the kind of photos you want to take. I started off with a tiny Minolta which was pocket sized. I then went on to the Canon Powershot which I used for quite a while before moving to the Nikon. I still use the P&S cameras though because they are so small and sometimes less intimidating for animals and people.

Xristine there is nothing wrong with being human & staffies are very tuned in dogs, even my bundle of joy/chaos
I know i know...but it came at what i think is a good price, i think i will still get a p&s as well. I tend to get moments where it's do it and do it now, probably why i ended up where i am now LOL !!! |

I so want Tara to be happy. She's so tiny and she was poorly when she arrived. She hasn't been ill treated. I think she had a nice home once and I think that someone abandoned her in a moment of madness - that's she a product of the recession.
Back to the cameras - I'm pleased for you because selfishly I'd like to see some more photos of Zack! I know Emma and Sharon will too!!
Your impetuousness has made me laugh! After all I told you!!! My mother is impetuous. I take after my father and think things through so long and hard that by the time I make a decision the world has moved on and it's time for another decision! _________________ "Plus je vois les hommes, plus j'admire les chiens."

I enjoy taking them, and i did promise regular updates. I do find myself looking for a decent (hopefully) shot now rather than just snapping away. So a camera with a half decent shutter speed was the only choice.
I do think long and hard about some things but sometimes it's o.k. to jump in with both feet. If i manage to get the hang of this one i promise i will do my homework before i buy another |

When!!! Not if!! Animals are tricky because you can't ask them to stay still and some of them don't like the camera. Some seem to pose. If you've seen Moss the JR or Belle then you know what I mean!
Ignore me - I'm very bossy.
But I do hope we'll get the updates. Zack is a big sweetie and I'm so very very glad he has ended up somewhere so kind and tolerant. _________________ "Plus je vois les hommes, plus j'admire les chiens."

O.K O.K. when
I know what you mean, my old dog refuses to stop or face the camera with the exception of a few times. The photo on the left being one of them.
We only managed two walks today, Zack flatly refused to go this morning. May have been something to do with the force five winds & torrential rain, big cissy
Zack has now been walking on collar and lead for 10 days now, no harness needed. It has taken longer than i hoped it would but we got there in the end |

He sounds sensible to me... I expect he will tell Louis and Elsie that he's living with a maniac - and they will sympathise.
The lead is good though... I hope we're going to see some new pics pretty soon when the Fuji arrives!!!! _________________ "Plus je vois les hommes, plus j'admire les chiens."

Who is living with which maniac is open to debate
30kg of staffie trying to burn off excess energy in a small bungalow is a sight to see
I will hopefully be posting better pic's by the weekend. New camera, my ability and weather permitting |

rofl Staffies aren't exactly sedate are they? I'd forgotten how they barge about.
Nearly 5 stone!!!! Geee...
I want you to repeat every morning: I will be able to take good photos... Say it three times... _________________ "Plus je vois les hommes, plus j'admire les chiens."
