rofl

Try counting to a 100...  I suppose reminding you that it isn't cold in Guernsey would be tactless?

Thought so...

After a two hour rain soaked walk our boy is sleeping soundly on the settee  Wink

So you still have a sofa then?  Laughing

I'm disappointed about the rain... the photos you've put up have shown amazing light so I've been assuming your autumns are very mild and sunny!! I don't know much about Guernsey except my mother is knitting me one!!! Razz

Little Tara went back to the kennels today. It seems strange not to have to ask her if she wants to go out and not playing games with her. Zack is welcome here if he needs to lie low for a bit...  Wink

Yes i still have a settee Smile  bedroom seems to be location of choice when i am out, probably because he can sit and watch the world go by.

It can be mild and good light or heavy rain and black, and windy..very very windy   Neutral Guernsey jumpers are very warm but can itch somewhat.

I bet you are missing her already, somehow i don't think she will be your last foster  Wink

Karen kindly took her back to the kennel so I didn't have to see her penned; I think that would have been sad.  She's a sweet dog and I really want her to have a much better home than I can give her. But you're right I'm hoping she won't be the last. She arrived in rather a rush last Saturday so I now have time to put the lock on the second gate and get some doggy things here. I've got a dog seat belt now!!! And I'm about to order a car seat cover so the next one doesn't keep sliding off - I polish the seats too much I guess!

She's a lot bigger than I'm used to but much more biddable so I think she could go to a much less bossy household than I am!  Rolling Eyes

The way to look at it is any time out of kennels is good for them, i know what you mean though it must be very difficult returning them. But at least all the RR dogs are in good hands  Very Happy

Impulse again, i just bought a fuji finepix s5000 on ebay. Better photo's soon i hope. If this works out o.k. i will look at a better one.

and after I told you to think carefully... 0/10 for preparation 10/10 for initiative...  Wink

I'm just going to look it up and see what I think.

I have a confession to make and I'll put it here because hopefully it will pass unnoticed. When I was having a shower this morning I was really sad that Tara was homeless and I had a very quiet weep with the shower running. (I learned how to weep very quietly in the shower when Clara was nearing the end of her life). Tara is so sweet and it's so unfair! I'd have happily taken her to a new home but I didn't want to leave that little one in kennels.  Anyway, to my horror a little anxious face appeared around the shower curtain and I had to tell her that everything was fine. I don't think she understood showers and she must have thought I was standing in the rain and crying because I was getting wet!!  Laughing

I'm sure you would rather have a picture of him curled up on the settee looking all sweet and innocent  Very Happy
