Hey Dee, it all started off when i made a donation or two then someone said have you seen this dog.....who was it now..... I would not be without him.
Xristine, if Zack's story has made your mind up then we are glad. You won't regret it but i'm sure i don't need to tell you that
Stopping Zack jumping up has gone to the top of his training list. His front paws are going in places they should not, and for us gentelmen that is not good and quite painful

Zack made me smile when I saw pictures of him with the cows and someone later remarked he'd made friends with them. My little JRTX was like that and it's so endearing.
Unfortunately at the moment my life is so unpredictable that a dog isn't possible but I'm expecting things to change in the next year or so. I'm here on the site to learn what the issues are so that I know what to expect and how to cope with it all. I'm afraid that I'm one of those people who likes to know what the score is in advance. Boring I know!
In the meantime I'm going to get the locks fitted on the gates so that I can offer to take in a guest at Christmas!
Must admit, I miss having a dog around very much indeed. _________________ "Plus je vois les hommes, plus j'admire les chiens."

''Ends justify the means'' Thanks Dee, i would not be without my two year old puppy, he is getting there gradually. Just need to tone down the enthusiasm from 150% to about 50% but i think that will only come with age |

Elsie came to visit us last night. Our boy did well, no territorial behavior at all & didn't mind her having a good look around in all his stuff...then taking his bone....then his bed...
All in all it went really well. They play well together and lay together. No trick or treaters came calling, but the noise out in the road did not bother him at all. |

If you said otherwise I wouldn't believe you - neither would anyone else. It's so obvious that you two like each other a lot!!!

Very true, but he really needs to learn when another dog is telling him enough that they mean it He will get there, eventually, one day |

... do you expect him to be when he tones down the energy?
My late lamented, silver spoon spaniel (a right proper princess) was still bouncing around two days before she died. That was just before her 16th birthday. You've got years of puppy energy to go
Even Spot (who may or may not be about 10+) is still full of bounce and has to be knackered with 3 walks a day.
Does Zac fix other kinds of fires beside Parkrays? My wood burner needs a bit of work and it probably involved some brute force?
