Wondering what happened to my lovely RR dog's brother...In April 2007 Toby came to stay with me, my parents and my older dog Merlin. A 6 (ish) month old rough coat collie crossed with a shepherd of some sort. The number of people who comment that he looks just like a fox is amazing! He was sort of nervous, but essentially a cuddle monster.
He had been brought over from Dundalk pound with his brother. They were called Laurel and Hardy then. But when Rescue Remedies took them on, their names were changed to Deklan (now Toby) and Cafferys.
Well, it's two years and a bit on, and now Toby has a new little brother here. Kes, a lab x collie who came to me from Valgrays BC Rescue when his mum was taken in by Val whilst pregnant.
Toby and Kes have become fast friends and will happily play all day. And it got me to wondering.
Whatever happened to Cafferys?
If anyone had any news of him, I would just love to know.
