Samantha JanusIt was sad to hear today about the death of Noel Janus, Samantha's dad.
I walked many times with him and his Dalmation, 'Cassie', who was rescued by Samantha from the home of someone who was mistreating her.
Noel adopted Cassie, who went from being a timid and skinny creature, to being a very happy well conditioned dog. She was walked regularly and it wasn't long before everyone knew her, she was in my dogs gang of canine pals.
Cassie was deaf - this may have been why she was mistreated.
I just hope that someone can look after her now that Noel is gone.
