ReminderPeople are bringing to relate to us as though we are some well funded mega rescue...coming with their expectations of 'service; response times etc. We carry a lot on our shoulders without funding to support all our ambitions and move a long on a 'wing and a prayer'
Strangely when the public actually contact the large Rescues they are confronted with telephone systems that streamline them into selected answerphone messages or callous remarks or 'no can do' attitudes.
Dee and myself carry the bulk of the rescue and its activities 24/7/365. Sometimes we are more responsive than other times. Currently we are hard at it catching up with heaps of admin which desperately needs our attention.
So can please people understand that we are a small organisation trying our best but failing on all fronts to achieve what needs to be done. We have had a lot of pressures on us this week which have taken us away from the vitals. So if you've put in a questionnaire or left a message or expecting us to call we will get there but not 'at this minute'
