Little Panda?? He's huge, but a really nice lad. He as a bit handshy when he cane in, but is absolutely fine. I think he's cat friendly, and is non=reactive to other dogs. the vet put his age about 3-4, although he initiallt thought he was more middle-aged. The fact that hes stil here is testimony to his good character - the kennels offeredto heep him on, becasuse they couldn't bear that he should be destroyed. scuse typing - can only use my left hand Rolling Eyes

We believe he was from a home with other dogs. He was reactive to other dogs kicking off from the other side of the door, and I remember him getting stressed when the others did.

Panda had a lovely drive to the vets. 42 kgs a little underweight so should be around 45-6 when settled.  We had him neutered, glands cleared; ears checked; skin checked; chipped and he was brushed throughly under GA. He was very wobbly, but happpy to receive a pigs trotter and take it back into his kennel.

Panda has very, very special visitors coming tomorrow to see him.

Carol and family along with their two lovely bitches so very excited about meeting Panda who has already stolen their hearts.

The family came and met Panda..Everything went really well with the exception of their 3 yr old Collie. She was too bouncy for Panda..their other Rottie and Panda got on so well. Sadly of course the Collie does need a welcoming companion so ...not to be.

Might have to go and visit Panda next week and give him a lovely walk.  Panda has been cat tested and is good with dogs..oh and he is very beautiful!

Aw wow here is our latest update from Sam :

Quote:
hi there! just thought id send you some pics of Boot ( panda). he's a little darling! very loving & likes being fussed. ive already got him to take treats gently from me instead of snatching & taking my fingers! he's been very good in the house at night & when we go out but just recently he decided to eat his new bed & pull all the stuffing out all over the garden !!! i was at the front washing my car so didnt see him doing it!  oh well! he's very good otherwise so i cant complain.   hey, why didnt you lot warn me about his incessant farting? it certainly gets rid off unwanted guests lol!! god ! they  dont half stink the house out ha ha!  he only gets away with it cos he looks so cute lol!    the cat introduced itself to him on the first day & they get along just fine, often rubbing noses, so thats all good. he loves going for walks but doesnt quite know what to make of horses or ducks!  think he's lived in the city  too long!! hope the pics come out ok.   cheers for now,   sam & dave xx

Even better here are some pictures of the lovely lad :
