NewsletterIt occurs to me that although the forum is very useful, people only read things of immediate concern to them, and won't necessarily visit (and hopefully become more involved) unless there is something they need/want.
If we had a newsletter that went out to all registered users it might keep people's attention and get them interested enough to get more involved. for instance, unless youre deiberatley looking for some way to help you might not offer to transport because you don't know whats involved - but might if you'd read an article telling you, how, why and what and what not are good ideas
Happy to draft one out if you think it's a good idea.

think it is a great idea, and will help more people get involved, especially people who have adopted dogs in the past and help them stay connected, and maybe also people who cant have a dog permenantly but would like to help out with walking/transport/fostering/money - if you would like a hand with sorting one out let me know...

Jess did a draft one several months ago but I didn't hear further. Anything that is done obviously needs to be sanctioned by a few core members... a clear target audience sort eg people who have homed a dog(s); people who enquired about a dog; people who are members of the forum; or general public. I take it it would be emailed? as opposed to snail mail?

I'd suggest to email them out to people who have homed/enquired about a dog- keep their interest in rr sustained, and also make it downloadable from website
