Little Marco arrived into our care last night with his 3 brothers and 2 sisters
Dee

This is the lovely Marco :

Sorry none of the pictures are great, not wonderful lighting in the lounge!!

Better ones will follow but may take some time!! LOL

Marco very sweet and loving. Had first dose of wormer today.

Starting to show his playful side but always up for a kiss and cuddle  Laughing

Can't you put different coloured ribbons round them????? Laughing
(it works with the kids..............pink one, blue one....)
Dee

Oh yes i do know.!! LOL

Maro is on left with Brad nearest to the leaves and Boris nearest to camera!!

A mum just knows these things! LOL    Laughing
Dee

Marco continuing to do very well.

Such a sweet boy and so enthusiastic with his staffie kisses!!

Had his first vax and was microchipped today. Has also complete his first course of wormer.

Not terribly impressed with the injections but so Staffie in as much as when he saw the treats laid out for him was easily influenced!! LOL   Laughing
Dee

Marco doing just great. Gentle little soul and again just so lovely jubbly Staffie in personality.

Loves to play in the garden but if i sit on the grass he is straight over to say hello!! LOL

How gorgeous is this boy? :

She keeps asking "Can we have more? Can we have more?"
Dee

OOOOHHHH NO she doesn't!!!!  7 puppies quite enough thank you  Wink
Dee

Marco has left us to go to his new family. We will miss him but i suspect he will not give us a second thought now he has Jane, Polly and Toby to occupy him!

He was just so delighted to see them all and happily handed out Staffie kisses wherever he could plant them!!

Very quickly snuggled on toby's legs and then gave his belly for a little rub!! LOL

Such a loving wonderful family i know he is going to be so very happy   Laughing  Laughing
nickik

Marco

Hi, just thought i would post a quick update on Marco.  Beautifully behaved in the car, did not seem to be worried. He has charged round the garden about four times, eaten well and is currently sleeping all the exertion off. He has an open crate in the kitchen which he happily goes and gets into when he is tired.  He has played fetch with a toy, and is showing how beautifully he has been brought up. 2 pees and a poo -  in the garden!! Did not expect that so early.. Currently one shattered little pup.  So loving and pleased to be Marco!!  I'll post some pictures once I've worked it out. Thank you Dee, John, Lynne and everyone at Rescue Remedies   Very Happy  Very Happy  Very Happy  Very Happy

Awwwwwwwwwwwww - so pleased for you all.  Very Happy
janem

Marco - more!

As you can see, I have been a very busy puppy, football, gardening, checking to see  which tomatoes are ripe (Mum says I mustn't eat those - but I like them!) and then having a  rest before Toby and Polly come home from school.  I'm off to see a vet person tomorrow and going to work with Mum, and on Thursday I will catch up with Boris. Phew!  So tired!!
Love Marco Very Happy  Laughing

His gardening skills are coming along a treat. At some stage he'll need to make a career choice - gardening OR football...  Wink
karen

Laughing I give the football about a month, 6 weeks max - then bang, it'll be  a flatball Laughing
xristine

That's a good game too and there are more career opportunities...  Laughing

Lovely photos btw!!

Wink

Marco

He has the makings of a good defender!  Gardening definitely not a career option despite enthusiasm due to eating everything!  Laughing
xristine

hahahaha - I suspect he has the same problem with football
Laughing

The 'enthusiasm' has made me laugh - you're right... whenever dogs join in with anything in the garden, it's always with a huge amount of enthusiasm but usually zero talent...

Very Happy

One of my dogs tried flower arranging but really her ideas were too avant-garde for me... I like my flowers stems down in the vase for a start...
janem

Marco

Laughing It's the first time I have ever planted bulbs at the right time of year, just to stop him trying to eat them!! Laughing  Laughing
xristine

When he learns digging that might fail as a technique.  Laughing

I love the photos and the updates - I hope you keep them coming!!
Dee

Aw bless his heart - he just looks so very happy.

Thank you Jane and delighted that after we have honed his housework skills you are now working on the gardening skills   Laughing  Laughing  Laughing

Marco

Thanks everyone!  After football training and gardening on Wednesday we went to work!  What a superstar, has loads of new fans, hardly any work got done  Very Happy but lots of puppy love!  The residents love him, he was so well behaved.  In the garden at work he will follow me to heel and come when called, so good. And no accidents, so I didn't have to face the wrath of the housekeeper.  forgot to say that  before leaving for work he managed to jump in the pond, both covered in foul green water, so too the kitchen floor!! Managed to get himself out before I started wading.  One of the nursing home residents misheard his name and told me off for calling him 'Tomato'!! Laughing  Laughing
And Today, well we went to see Olivia and Boris, and just to say that Olivia and I have been in stitches this afternoon and it will become a regular event!  They moved so fast the pictures are blurred at times but the first one sums it up!!  They ran and ran and played and fought and were puppies together!  (please ignore dates on pics - it's wrong!)

xristine

Have to say that Jane and Olivia you've kept me laughing during a tiresome week with your photos and stories of Boris and Tomato...  Very Happy

Presumably all the tomatoes he's been eating have changed Marco's appearance...  Wink
Sharonr - Admin

Glad to see that Dee's training and his dustpan brush fetish is still evident!  Laughing
oliviae

Yes Boris was (ahem) very pleased to see Marco. ... and it was great to see them together. Great to meet Jane too, Dee was right we did get on well. God help em at puppy classes. Do you get detention for laughing?
janem

Marco tomato

I really didn't think I would have anything to post today and then I walked into the kitchen................. The first is lack of supervision, the second I can only put down to Dee and her insistence on puppies cleaning up after themselves!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Please help, if I laugh any more my sides will split and I've just read Boris's post

going for a lie down!!
xristine

I'm seriously impressed by that - he's only a little mite. I assume he was attempting to sweep his crate out...

Laughing

PS I have pink shoes like that too but I have TWO...  Very Happy
oliviae

That broom picture is so funny. I have laughed so hard I have tears in my eyes. A classic picture. Very Happy
Sharonr - Admin

Doesn't say much for your house-keeping if the poor little mite has to do it himself!
karen

Laughing  Laughing Have just laughed so much, I have distrubed Coco  Rolling Eyes (Too embarrassed to say what happened to the mouth full of wine I had Embarassed )
janem

Tomato

Karen, so sorry you wasted your wine!! I think we all deserve a small one! Laughing  Laughing
xristine

I shouldn't apologise Jane... judging by her

she'd had quite enough  Wink

I hope little Marco's spatial awareness improves or you give him a smaller broom!!!
Dee

Between you and Olivia i have never laughed so much.

Just can not tell you how much it lifts our spirits to read these wonderful posts.

Everything that we want for each of our lovely dogs.

Just keep them coming!! LOL   Laughing  Laughing
johnderondon

Great pics!

Thanks for the laugh.

Marco

Time for a quick update!  Can't type very well one handed, have a puppy on lap - not sure how he got there!  He has grown, his legs seem to be longer, eats everything he shouldn't, slippers, revolting stuff in the garden etc, and loves digging!! And yes, the football has collapsed!

Hates going out in the morning when the grass is wet!!!
karen

Shocked Gosh - inside a week. I knew the football would be toast but not quite that fast  Shocked

Laughing Still looks like butter wouldn't melt  Laughing
xristine

I somehow missed these photos of little Marco! I'm glad to see that you're working on his literacy skills.

And his general horticultural skills are coming on a treat.  Wink
janem

Marco

I'm thinking of lending him to Lynne for help in her garden!!  I have been trying to dig out a root for ages, 5 minutes of attention from Marco and out it comes!  I'll post some more photos later - he has come on - I was going to say in spades!!  Loves his walks, meets with Boris every week and is meeting other dogs really well. Wants to meet every human he sees with complete exhuberance and  kisses and doesn't understand that some people are just not keen!!  I was going to ask Dee  whether I put on the homing questionnaire that I didn't allow dogs on the furniture but I think it's too late for that. The cat is completely put out - that's her spot  Laughing  Laughing

Also - if there is any sunshine, he will be found lying in a sunny spot!  Cool
xristine

Actually Jane, I’ve been wondering if you and Olivia have thought about putting his skills with Boris’s garden designs?  Wink

Of course, Boris’s ideas are futuristic and not everyone's cup of tea so the clientele may be a little difficult to locate…  Rolling Eyes

Seriously, it’s lovely to see some more shots of him. He looks very much at home and happy and you obviously love him to bits!
janem

I think we would have to call it Destruction Designs!  Laughing
He is absolutely fab and loved to bits, my heart melts everytime I see his waggy bum and tail going  from side to side.  It is brilliant to see Boris so often , Olivia and I get on really well too, although we are off to get a prescription for sedatives for the puppy class. ( for us I hasten to add!!) Laughing
Dee

Aw well we went (John and i) to visit Boris and Marco today.

Could not believe how BIG they have gotten. Both so beautiful too.

Marco is the best behaved puppy in the puppy training class and can well believe it what a little delight he continues to be.

Huge thank you to Jane for collecting so much stuff for our lovely dogs in kennels - blankets, bowls, etc, etc. Just amazing.

Just so wonderful to see both Marco and Jane again and so lovely to watch Marco and Boris just play and play and play.  Laughing
xristine

It's so nice those two still see each other and nice to get an update by proxy.

@Dee I imagine you and John felt very proud to see the little ones grown so much!!!
