Lucky wire-haired JRT 14 yrs

Little Lucky bless was hanging on with a thin thread..we decided it was in his best interests to let him float away today...Seems he was very old and couldn't be roused by much..  just to sleep..

His thread is below..
LUCKY  - very old! just likes to potter about! is on arthritis medication. can be a bit snappy if messed about with but is ok to stroke etc.

We will find out more info tomorrow
Lucky is very frail skin and bones

Lucky is very frail and old. He isn't doing well in kennels though he is warm and well cared for. He has spent yesterday curled up in his bed but did get up to eat a little last night to our delight.  We have discussed his needs with Wendy our vet who has read his vet notes and viewed blood tests.  Lucky starts on Metacam today and Marg, who is a practising vet met him yesterday and is on his case so hopefully we will see improvement. As Lillie is unspayed and has tumours we can't consider homing these two yet until their vet needs are met.  Alyson is keeping a close eye.

Poor, poor Lucky.  Crying or Very sad I only met him briefly but it was very apparent that he was not a happy boy.

With thanks to Rescue Remedies for being there for him regardless of the outcome.
