Louis - Cocker SpanielLouis10 year old Tri coloured Cocker Spaniel. Vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. Currently lives with a 5 year old male neutered Weimerana with no problems. He is very good with other dogs but sometimes tries humping until he is told off. Cat status unknown as never lived with cats but has chased them at times Might need a dental as back teeth are a bit gammy Needs a new home as he is not happy with the young children which he is living with. Older respectful children would be fine as he has a happy, friendly nature I have met and assessed. Nice fellow who I could potentially take in 2-3 weeks if a home is not found |

Louis is now advertised on Shelterhelper and Dogpages. I have also submitted a request for him to be put on the Oldies Club website

Poor Louis We booked him in for a dental yesterday. The vet Liz found his teeth were so bad it had affected the jaw bone...we have sent for tests so Liz can assess the damage and cause..Hopefully to rule out jaw cancer. Please send little Louis good wishes.
He is still with his now foster mum as resident dog hasn't accepted him very well. Joanne will update once she gets back on line! |

Poor Louis
Unfortunately his forever home has not worked out with Janet and Stephen as Millie the Patterdale is not happy about sharing her Mum and Dad:( Janet and Stephen kindly offered to take him to the vets to have his dental before going to another home. A simple dental has turned into a bit of a nightmare. When Louis' canines were removed, as they were loose, his jaw bone started coming out aswell with lots of pus. It is either an extremely severe infection or cancer within the bone  A biopsy has been sent away and we should know within a week

We are still waiting for test results. Should hopefully get them some time this week |

Joanne's hard work paid off tonight Louis has found his wonderful family..thanks go to Janet and Stephen who have supported him through his recovery. He now has a clean bill of health.
Dee will provide photographic evidence as she gets the adoption process completed |
