Jasper Westie x 11 yrsJasper has sadly passed away leaving Patrick and his family with fond memories and sad hearts

Jasper is just losing his home as he has bitten his companion dog after living in harmony for 4 yrs. Now he has bitten his grandparents dog since he moved there. Oh dear perhaps feeling out of salts or just a grumpy feeling.
Despite this he has always been a great family dog He barks at strangers but once he recognises he is first to receive a fuss. He is a little over weight and am told he tires on too long a walk. He is fine being left.
Coming into kennels on Saturday the 26th Jan and will be called into Richmond when we have a space.

Poor Jasper is in kennels waiting for a foster place...send him good wishes. Dee said that he has settled and just sitting in his bed ..waiting

Jasper found his new family last night. Patrick who lost his Westie Candy last March is soooo delighted with him. There is just themselves; 2 older gentlemen to devote their time to each other. Both now have got a bounce in their step! With the extended family fully involved and supporting their union.

Dee has just called to say sadly Jasper died before Xmas. His owner is missing him terribly but oh what a wonderful 'near, year' they had together. All our team are wishing them well and thanking them for everything they gave to Jasper.

Jasper had been slowing down in recent months and generally just seemed to be sleeping more.
On his final day he just climbed up onto the sofa and just fell gently to sleep. So peaceful.
Poor Patrick devastasted as you can imagine but what a wonderful home he gave to Jasper and how happy they made each other.
