Jake Smooth Haired Fox terrier 8 yrs Chesham BucksHello Lynne,
Found your website tonight and want to tell you about our 8 yr old smooth fox terrier - Jake - who ran off while out walking last Tuesday 30/12 in the Fullers Hill area of Chesham.
Please can you look out for him? His photo is attached. He's very friendly and is terribly missed, not least by Jess (our 1 yr old FT). Am in daily contact with Dog wardens, kennels, etc and he's on the RSPCA national database. DogLost.co.uk has been great, giving plenty of advice about postering, scenting, etc. Locals have been wonderful, looking out for him and spreading the word.
Initially thought he might be stuck down a badger/fox hole but not so sure now after lots of searching and hearing nothing. We're starting to think someone's picked him up and has kept him. Maybe they'll pick up the phone now the holidays are ending. Could have covered quite a distance since there have been some roe deer in the area which he'd love to chase. We'd really appreciate your assistance with sharing his details and photo. Any advice would also be gratefully received. He is microchipped and a reward is offered for safe return.
