Hi all!Hi all, am new to the forums so thought I'd say hi.
Im currently looking after Tre (on the rehoming section) and having read how dire things are looking in the 'urgent' sections, I feel even more awful for needing him rehomed.
Anyway, hi. I have a staffy who I absolutely adore, she is my world, and Tre who is a real character and, Im pleased to say becoming a fantastic dog with some training under his belt. I also have cats, a cockatiel, a snake and fish, so a bit of a zoo! To all outward appearances, Im a hoodie wearing, staffy owning thug (shaved head, piercings and tattoos) but the truth is so far away from that stereotype. I adore my dog and give her the world, in fact, she gets more than I do, she even knows she that if she has an itch, I will scratch it for her, she's spoilt rotten!!
I love all animals and despise the casual way with which some people get rid of animals, especially dogs because basically, they can't be bothered to put some effort in! If I did that, the only thing in my house would be Summer as she is the only animal that is almost no effort, not saying its been easy, especially since the arrival of Tre who had no training at all!! but you do it because they look at you and they love you just because you got up that day and looked in their general direction!
Anyway, back to the subject. Im a Buffy the Vampire Slayer nerd, and disabled, housebound in fact, so rely on idiot brother to walk the dogs which he does, complaining all the way then comes back covered in as much mud as them and grinning like the staffy. I dabble in making cards and cross stitches.
Would love to be able to help out but not sure there's a lot I can do without being able to go out and get stuck into things tbh.
Anything else you wanna know, just ask, I don't bite....... well, not just anyone.

Hello there and welcome to our pack! Thank you very much for making me laugh this evening - I think the picture of the complaining brother wearing mud and a smile did it
Thank you for the offer of help, I doubt it will be long before we find something for idle hands LOL! Meanwhile if you spot anything you would like to get involved in, just drop one of the RR team a mail.

haha you should see them all when they come back from the heath having been in rivers and the mud, they all get thrown in the tub, although bro puts himself in there, thats too creepy even for me!
haha I can't say they're idle hands has they're full of animals but anything I can do, just yell.
Would love to be able to foster more but well, the cats are threatening to move out and I dont think I'd be popular with anyone if I did.... when I win the lottery, it'll be different! haha.
EDIT: Adding stuff I was gonna say before and forgot.
I write, erotic/perverted (delete as you see fit) fan fiction and have written a novel as well. I also write poetry and songs although can't write music for all the kittens in Korea. I don't really remember what its like to sit and write anymore since the arrival of Tre, all my time is consumed with trying to train him, which is very much like trying to nail jelly to a cloud sometimes but he's not as stupid as he makes out.
Summer's hobbies include killing cardboard boxes, waggling, hence the nickname, Wiggle Waggle, chasing rats, having cuddles and kisses, playing with tennis balls and getting muddy.
Tre's hobbies include perfecting his 'woe is me' face, eating, being a little bugger, collecting golf balls, eating, weeding the garden, being a bucking bronco, chasing Summer, eating, having cuddles, eating, looking vague, learning lots, eating, and being a comedian.
