Hello from Billy and me! 'quick' intro from me and my long-legged Jack Russell - Billy.
He is 10, nearly 11 years old. We've had him 8 years and adopted him from his first family after a new baby meant his owner didn't feel happy that he had to wait and wait for a walk.
I have had two children since he arrived but he has been the most amazing, forgiving and accepting dog through it all and we made sure that his walks have always been our priority In fact, I'd say they kept me sane during those long, dark days of having a newborn
He is totally part of the family - sleeps in the bed comes on his holidays to the New Forest and Suffolk Coast every year, thinks everyone that comes to the house is here to see him
His recall is fairly selective but otherwise most terrier traits (aside from being gawgus and funny and luverly ) seemed to have passed him by.
Terrified of what life will be like without him and to that end we are looking for another dog to keep him young.
I also have a big, fluffy Clydesdale horse so don't have much time for anything but playing with my children, dog and horse

Anyway - hello

Aw.
Does anyone have a terrier who DOESN'T have selective recall?
Hope you find a dog to keep him young soon, but remembering Alice (would have been 17 at the weekend!) at that age most terriers don't need too much encouragement.
Good luck with dog searching - my baby came from Terrier Rescue two years ago tomorrow - gone so fast!
Here's my boy!

Hi there and welcome to our Pack !
Yeah, I did an awwwwww when I saw his photos - couldn't help myself! Loved the one that shows the 'artist in him'! Do love a cultured dog!
Enjoy the forum and, when the time is right, hope you spot a friend for your boy.

hope you find a friend for BillyBilly looks like a lovely lad! I think that he was very lucky to be adopted by you all those years ago and that the friend you adopt to help to keep Billy bouncing will be equally grateful.
Keep an eye on the website as I am sure the RR have just the right friend for Billy.
We got Moss, our long legged JR, from RR last year and I know how much he enjoys things like playing with with horses and holidays in the New Forest. He even gets on well with a Shetland pony and we all know that they have the "terrier attitude" of the horse world.
I look forward to hearing that you have found a new addition to your family.
