Hi,
I am currently fostering Rhea, who is such a lovely girl we were tempted to keep her but our dominant bitch Muffy has other ideas! Muffy is a lurcher who is about 8 and was a Dublin street dog until Bernie rescued her 6 years ago and then she came to us from Poplar Farm. Ollie is our oldie greyhound boy who is nearly 12 and grumpy, won't tolerate other male dogs. Millie is our youngster and will be 3 in April - she came all the way down from Hull where they struggled to find her a home because she is deaf. She is the destructive one of the family and it is so much harder to correct from a distance with a deaf dog. We have had 1 other lurcher and 2 greyhounds and many years ago a deaf collie x. Apart from the dogs there are 2 kids age 11 and 14 and a supportive husband who loves dogs too but wouldn't choose to have so many! We have got a huge garden over an acre which is fully fenced so the fact our dogs are only ever walked on lead isn't a problem. We are in Caterham so if anyone ever needs some safe space for dogs with poor recall (for jumpers but not diggers) let us know.
