Gypsy a young lass with everything to live forSadly today Gypsy lost her life unexpectedly whilst under GA for spay. She had been diagnosed with a heart murmur but with all due care taken her heart gave out.
Jean is left devastated ..she had been in recent communication with us about adopting a second lurcher..all rested on Gypsy's recovery following her op. Here is what she said about Gypsy..
I had Gypsy a little greyhound x colle from you last April. She was fostered with Debbie in Cheshunt at the time. I am on my own with Gypsy, but have managed fine and I would love to have another dog for company for her. After having a 'hound' I am smitted by them they are lovely dogs, Gypsy has grown into a lovely family dog good with the grand children, cats ect, and loves everybody. She has a heart murmer that has given no cause for concern at the moment she is fit healthy and full of fun.Next Monday she is going in to be spayed, my vet did not want to do it until she had her first season, so I will be glad when that out the way. I have become a member of Southern Lurcher Rescue, its nice to chat with likeminded people, and have also been on one of their mammouth walks, and hope to go again.

Beautiful lovely Gypsy - what a wonderful loving home you found with Jean.
Such a sad time but thoughts of Gypsy knowing only love, affection and play touches your heart.
Thinking of you Jean as this very sad time.
