Gary Staffie 4-6 yrs Southend Essex

My apologies to everyone but had to come forwards for Gary. He was on the PTS list and I didn't have the stomach to see him go.

If everyone gets our posters out there we might just manage that extra homing which will have saved his life!  Gary comes Wednesday 8th July.

He is so beautiful.

Gary being neutered on Monday and travels Tuesday

Heres Gary just arriving into kennels. They have moved him out the pound for us so he is safe and he is being neutered tomorrow. Travels Wednesday.

Note his close proximity to a mastiff in the background. Dog skills not bad.

Gary was neutered on Monday and comes tomorrow

Gary is fab.  He is a 'pure staffie' with a dinner plate head and a great big grin. He is older than we had estimated..and bless him not tip top condition yet! He so needed to be neutered and so now he can settle and
look for his new family.  He mixes well with dogs

Well Gary is very much an old fashioned staffie.  He has the more settled nature of the  more mature dog beyond puppyhood.  He is stocky, thickset and seems to have that strong sense of self like Alfie and Frank.  He was easy to walk but very keen to keep going and get wherever it might be we were going.  It was a bit on the warm side and I had to rein him in a bit for his own sake.  He was quite calm at the cafe while I had my lunch and he had a nice big drink of water and a few scraps.
I think Mark ( a regular walker)  will be taken with him when he meets him.
When we got back to the kennels it was a bit busy so we had to wait to go back in and he was very keen to explore everywhere. On a cooler day he would love a good long walk I am sure.

You can see why Gary has the nickname laughing staffie.  He reminds me of the laughing Buddhist monk. I'm deeply in love with Gary more so because he is an older guy, not in best nick but EVERYTHING you ever look for in a staffie.. Wink so not sure I can part with him but I'm not greedy and he so needs his new owners right now!

Does he wait for you...

On Saturday we rehomed Gary.  It feels as though he has always been with us and has slotted perfectly into our family.  He is so affectionate and loving we are truly blessed to have found him.  He loves laying in the sun in the garden and laying on the sofa in the evening having cuddles.  I can't thank Lynne and Dee for introducing us to Gary and are forever in their debt.
