i wrote this poem for a lady on DP's who's story of losing her beloved dog had me in floods of tears but not being the poetic type usually and not knowing where the words came from i wanted to post it here too for everyone who has ever lost someone they love:

"i see the damp marks left by your tears"
"i wish there was a way i could tell you i'm here"
"i hear the saddness in your voice"
"i wish i could tell you that there was no other choice"
"i know for me that now you grieve"
"i wish i could tell you i didn't really leave"
"i know you feel guilt for your part"
"i just want you to know i love you with all my heart"

I just wanted to say how lovely the poem is! I lost my last JR, Jack aged 15 last year, and it broke my heart.
But my hearts now on the way to being partly mended by Barney, found through Terrier Rescue!! Thank you!!
