Ellie Red Crossbreed 3-4 yrs old Gatwick W Sussex KennelledDear little worried Ellie..found tied to a tree in season. She has just been spayed and made a good recovery. She is coming into kennels next week so we can get going with her.

Ellie arrived. Long journey but at last she was out in the world and breathing fresh air! A lovely cross breed..
The report from her kennels was: She is now spayed and first vax'd. She is clean in her kennel. She is very people friendly and not too jumpy uppy. She isn't reactive to dogs within the kennel setting.

Ellie surely can't be with us long. She is adoreable. I walked her through the wood and wandered if it was my imagination but it kept coming to me that Ellie was on edge..I remembered this dog had been found abandoned tied up to a tree..it was those sideward glances. Out in the sun and we had an energetic walk. She wanted to run. Her body is shrinking back into shape but still evidence of past pregnancy there. In our detective mode you have antanae up when a dog is found stray. Any hint of information can tell you about that dogs past. You only need to tie a dog up if they are loyal and connected. Its a purposeful act it also ensures an element of safety. (Amber a past staffie was thrown out of a moving car..that is high risk of damage and possible accident of chasing the car). The fact she stayed by the tree says she wasn't used to being tied up..she didn't chew through her lead. So Ellie is a loyal dog; her owner hoped she would be found and cared for..tried to save her from walking the streets. She presents as a loved dog. I was almost tempted to let her off lead she was connected with me after a short time. Ellie is a dog who is concerned for you perhaps because her past owner showed her concern. A lovely cross breed young dog with a keen energy but not OTT. Ellie prepare yourself for your family they will come very soon. Vax process this week.

Ellie is a lovely girl  She waited patiently while I had a chat but showed politely she was keen to get on. She did pull a little but nothing serious. She met Frank with a play bow and showed no reaction to a couple of little dogs on the walk. She is a keen tracker, walking with her nose to the ground following those interesting smells. She really looks to you in a questioning way as if waiting for instructions. Someone is going to get lucky with this girl.
