Dee's Nan Rest in PeaceDee's Nan passed away peacefully this morning with her close family at her bedside.....
Her thread is below
Dee is away at the moment caring for her Nan. This is a very special lady who was Dee's 'mother' through her childhood and then on....a strong woman who is now in her nineties and sadly for her family..indicating she doesn't want to go much further..time for some relief.
So Dee is spending precious time involved in the decisions of her care and precious moments in her company and close family.

Aw bless thank you guys.
Nan slowly fading but all the family are here with her and i am sure she is aware of us.
She is peaceful and comfortable and i think that is all we can hope for.
She is such a wonderful lady who has always done things her own way so not at all surprised this is the case now!! xxx

Nan was a very special lady and without doubt my life would have been very different and much much poorer without her unconditional love and support.
The home called us and 1am and we went in to be with her. At 4 am just as it was starting to get light and all the birds had started to sing nan very peacefully drew her last breath. We were all sitting with her.
She will be hugely missed by us all. Really she was the whole familys rock and truly she made her family her life.
How each of us benefited from that in so many ways.
Such a wonderful, loving and very stubborn person. So proud that she was my nanny xxxxx
