I can't believe I am writing this but Dee has a heart attack today and has been admitted to St George's Hospital. John took her to Kingston with chest pains / angina. Once they ran tests they put her in a blue light ambulance and sent her to St Georges. They have cleared a blockage in her heart.

John will post full details. Jane and I will discuss our continguency on how we manage without her. She is likely to be in hospital for up to a week. John obviously will be balancing visits to Dee; managing their dogs and coping with his current back problem..

Everything crossed for some positive news today. Thinking of you both - John & Dee.

Caught up with John this morning and was so relieved to hear she was stable; had moved into another ward and although had not had a good night was feeling a little better. Jane tracked her down and got her on the phone and relayed her good news so relieved to having spoken with her.

Dee called me this pm and seemed calm and got me chuckling. I got her chuckling when she started to lay down the law and I said hang on hang on I surrender..you're in hospital how can I argue "yes mame three bags full mame". Dee is meanwhile thinking whatelse she wants to get agreed before she leaves hospital tomorrow..oh boy we're in for big changes..I wonder if she wants to walk my dogs as part of her get fit keep fit campaign!

So pleased to hear the news. Sounds very much like she is back on form and that's the way we like her! Guess she will need to take it easy and we will all have to do some "yes, mame, no mame" for a while (can always keep our fingers crossed behind our backs as we say it)!

Am glad to hear you are home and on the mend. Milk it Dee, milk it. Turn that bossy bloke into a goafer - I know you can do it! What was that ... you want a coffee, a newspaper, your toenails need cutting and you fancy some de-seeded grapes!
