Chucky 13 yr Terrier R.I.P.Chucky lost his fight against cancer over the weekend below is his thread.
Chucky will have you chuckling He is 13 yrs and his family are now working long hours which means he is being left too long. There is definitely life in the old fellow yet..as the family say he doesn’t attempt to get out of their garden now but a def. NO FOR CATS! We are going over to meet him this week and will report back. His photo says so much I want to give him a big cuddle. He is great with children has grown up with them and now has their children to mind! Good off the lead and outside with dogs but would prefer to be an only animal!

 Sorry it's taken so long to dothe up date on chucky, still what a lovely little fellow he is. He greeted me with a waggy tail. He is good with everything exept cats. He is very well behaved and is only being parted with for his own welfare. Due to work comitments and the family all leaving home and going on their way, Chucky is spending a great deal of time alone. They are a lovely family and are going to be vey distressed to see him go, but are assurred it is for his own good. At the moment he is recovering from a nasty flee infestation which is being treated by the owners vet.

Chucky is going to the vets to have his MOT test and a bit of work done to keep him running in tip top order.
Due in at the vets on wednesday and will keep you all informed how he gets on :>)

Chucky was seen by Mr Andre. His blood test revealed his liver function was fair..to be expected in a 13 yr old dog. He proceeded to neuter Chucky and found one testicle was tumourous but now its out he should be clear. He quarterised some warts on his back; clipped his claws; gave him a longterm acting antibiotic injection and checked him for a chip..he was already done.
So 3 pm Chucky was reported to be standing up and wagging his tail at everyone who went near or passed his cage..I collected him and you wouldn't have known he'd been through it! He had a gentle walk and tucked into his food. Chucky has had a longer walk this evening and all seems well..he is sleeping in our bedroom tonight and Sue is collecting him on her way home from work tomorrow

 Good news, Lynne & I took Chucky back to his forever home. He walked straight in had a drink and his dinner, which was all ready for him. He may be 13years old but is jumping around like a puppy. Ruth was delighted to see him. Match made in heaven.

 So sad, Chucky was a smashing little fellow, so loving and pleased that he had a new home were we love was flowing. I have written to his owner to express my sadness. Chucky is running around with Jackson now and hiding under his long legs
