Boycie German Spitz type breed 18 months Guildford Surrey
Boycie came to us on Friday. He has had 3 homes already, but thank God he is in a foster home with Dee P and family. He was lived with other dogs; all age range of boisterous children and small furries. He is settling well in foster and enjoying his walks. Here he is post 'spa and groom'! Boycie will be vax'd and neutered on Wednesday.
Jury out on breeding, no papers so just love him for who he is!

So pleased to FINALLY have you Boycie. I said to you I would be there for you at whatever COST so here you are at last.
We have had a few chats over the weekend about what HE would like in life. Quite simple really, peace when he sleeps, regular walks as the world is a very exciting place. Loves to play with gentle children who will throw a ball, have a lap to share and have secret meetings in their bedrooms to hear how their day went at school. More importantly he wants to be LOVED for who he is not what he might be .
We took him to fed the ducks and he was very very keen to meet so we stayed back away from them. Will chase cats and got a bit fruity with the Rabbit - hopefully after Wednesday things will calm down . Has lived with Dogs but all un neut and will get fruity. Is fully house trained here with us but did mark initially when he arrived - to be expected. Sleeps peacefully up on the landing in his bed and we don't hear a peep from him all night. So all in all a perfect dog just looking for a perfect, special family to call his own.
A little hand shy currently and freezes in certain situations but he will be fine and from now on life will just get better and better.

Poor little chap is home after his Snip and Microchip, sleeping on his fluffy bed with the fan going - all for him.
Love, care and attention is what this little chap has needed for some time. Have felt something is not right with Boycie - breathing quite fast whilst sleeping and constantly feeling hot even late at night with the fans going on him. Today, I found out why as I asked them to give him a little look over with this concern that I had. The poor love has had a severe throat infection for sometime. Not treated until now. There was all pus at the back of his throat. I felt awful not picking up on this but felt something was wrong. He is now on antibiotics and will start life with a new out look and start feeling better in himself and will have less to worry about too
If Boycie could talk "human" I know he would say a very big thank you to the RR team for being there for HIM!

Bless him, yes he's feeling much better. Had a very quiet day and just pottered about the garden far too hot to go out and wasn't really up to it first thing this morning so have just had a day relaxing with his fan on him keeping him cool.
My parents popped in again today. He is a bit wary of people he's not met before, especially men and always has been. Not agressive just barks as he is frightened. A bit of ham or sausage brings him round and ignoring him works well too. He soon comes over for a sniff and a fuss when HE is ready.
Few more days and he will be feeling so much better in himself. He really is a good boy and is always smiling. Loves nothing more than being told what a very good boy he is oh see him smile and wag his tail. He loves being with his "family" doesn't like being left alone. He is not distructive but have found little paw prints on my window sill where he has got stressed being left.

Boycie has been coming to work with me which means meeting lots of new dogs and new people. Finds meeting new people quite scary and will bark until he feels comfortable with them. This will take time for him to get used to. Has mixed well with new dogs that he has met and is mixing with Helen's dogs - JR's and did have a lovely play with Buster yesterday. Took his telling off from Lottie very gracefully and didn't react.
Enjoys the kids company very much and loves to play with them, loves them to brush him and spend time with him. A very loving boy is our Boycie but also quite happy to take himself off to bed to have some Boycie time too.
All very new experiences and is enjoying being included in everyday of our family life. This boy doesn't stop smiling and gets up in the morning with a spring in his step.

Boycie and I have had a very busy week together. He has done so well and I am very proud of him.
Travels well in the Car loves to look out the window but on long journeys does get car sick. Sits in the front as my co-driver and is very well behaved.
Still barks at "new" people but does stop when I pick him up. Do try and ignore and leave him but he gets in a panic. He lets people say hello to him then and the barking stops. Mixes well with other dogs and its so nice to see him playing and having fun. His "hormones" have calmed down and has lost his "Tom Jones" ego. Less to worry about for him and so its all play now!!
Had a check up yesterday at the vets and all is well now. Booster done so he's already for his new life with his forever family. He has so much to give and is so loving. Loves to play with the kids and does miss them when we drop them off at school. Wouldn't say he was over-needy in his nature but who can resist him - we can't!!

My little fella and I had a lovely trip down the coast this morning and met 3 new 4 legged friends who were VERY pleased and excited to meet him and of course his special Mum and Dad. Mum didn't sleep well last night in all the excitment so being a good friend she is phoned her friend at 5.00 a.m. to meet at the park with all the dogs for a nice early morning stroll and a chat They ALL fell in love - love at first!! Boycie took very well to Sam (son) and even rested his paws on his lap - I was thrilled to see him trust so soon.
Walks and Ice Creams by the Sea with his special new family, lovely big park 2 mins away and more importantly, Boycie will be loved and cherished FOREVER for being Boycie!!

Boycie does like to live beside the seaside!! Had lovely updates from Sharon his new Mum. Waggy tail this morning when they all got up. Eats very well and loves going out with Indi for his walks. Played kiss chase today with Jess their stunning Staffie and I must say Jess did not stop kissing Boycie when I was there. I did get very embarrassed and felt in the way a bit
They all sound very happy and I know Sharon is very smitten with Boycie. So pleased for you Boycie life just gets better everyday for you

just to let you know Boycie is gaining confidence every day and is acting like a puppy, he loves to play and have cuddles. He sleeps on my bed and is so well behaved. Dee told me he likes water so I bought him a little paddling pool which he loves to jump in, splash around then takes off round the garden. He is a lovely little boy and so beautiful. Sharon ps will put pictures on when I learn how to do it.

Thought you might like to know Boycie loves gardening, I plant some lovely flowers and Boycie digs them up. Every day he comes in from the garden with dirt over him, wagging his tail and very pleased with himself. He also now steals Megs(staffie)ball and she chases him round the garden, he absolutely loves playing, he hid in the bush yesterday and as Indi(chihuahua) came past he leapt out and dived on him. I believe he has well and truely settled.

boycieHi just to let you know Boycie still loves gardening, this week he has decided he would like a hole in the middle of the lawn and Indi has been joining in, Meg(staffie) looks at me then at them as if to say 'nothing to do with me, I told them but they wont listen' Boycie is doing well and seems to be enjoying everything, especially gardening.
