Boris such a little star!
Gorgeous boy. Definitely remains the biggest and greediest of them all but such a little love. Likes to snuggle into your neck so sweet also likes to nibble on your eye (not quite so sweet - sharp teeth!LOL)
Was 1st vaxed and micro chipped on 29/08 and has also completed first lot of wormers.
Getting more and more lively every day and just adores being in the gzarden particularly under the bushes.
Here he is just getting ready to pounce and near his most favourite bush! LOL

Our gorgeous Boris has left us now for a new life with his new family.
All were delighted to see each other and whilst he initially became nervous without the others about didn't take long for him to start sharing the staffie love about!!
He is going to be so very, very happy.
Another wonderful and very loving family who can not wait to start sharing their lives with him, luckily he is the biggest so plenty of love to go round!! LOL

Boris did not appreciate my driving on the way home (although most humans dont either) and spent the majority if the afternoon running around the garden, trying to befriend the cats and diving in the bushes!!
He has already developed a great bond with my 8 year old and is happy to go to his crate for a rest! Seems very well behaved as far as toilet trainig is concerned and has understood the 'come' command. (Alot to do with the treat in my hand me thinks!!)
Its been lovely to be greeted by Boris licks and we have fallen in love with him even more!!
Boris and his brother are meeting up for a play date this week!!

I'm not a fan of cats though I like dogs to get on with them. But the photo of the cat peeping in on sleeping Boris can melt even my heart!
Dee will love this...

Good for a caption competition .. I think the cat is saying ... "Finally, someone finally took the batteries out of it"?!!!

Day 7 in the Big Puppy House
0635 Boris wees in the garden
0915 Todays task is the house cleaning. Boris collects the brush. Drops it. Picks it up. Runs away. Drops it. etc etc.
1030 Washing time. Boris takes all the dirty clothes out of the basket. Olivia puts them back in. Boris runs off with Olivias sock.
1130 - Boris decides the washing is dry and proceeds to pull it off the washing line. Olivia rewashes the clothes lol
1200 The man from Asda arrives. Boris licks him all over. Boris helps bring in the bags. Boris tries to get into the bag and doesnt like it when Olivia explains that Prawn flavoured pringles are not for dogs.
1215 Boris can walk upstairs
1217 Boris cant go downstairs and whimpers till he is picked up
1220 Boris goes upstairs
1221 Boris cant go downstairs and whimpers till he is picked up.
1225 See above
1300 Olivia puts up the stairgate.
1305 boris masters going downstairs when Olivia ignores him
1310 Olivia takes down the stairgate
1400 Olivia goes to the toilet
1405 Olivia returns to crate to find one shoe, a Braztz doll and a pair of knickers
I think you get the picture!!! Boris is doing really well and starting to respond to commands. Cant teach him to sit as he always sits when he comes to me! He is really well behaved and we love him to bits.

Boris That is the funniest post, but then I haven't stopped laughing since thursday. I had a pathetic tired moment today and then stopped myself immediately thinking of Dee and gave myself a hard slap!!

Dee had probably curled up in a corner somewhere with thumb in mouth snoozing..

Haven't laughed so much for ages Could you just write a book for when things get rough and we can all refer to it
I can so relate to to washing bit

So funny reading yours and Jane's posts. Just wonderful to sit and let off such belly laughs at their antics.
Love the day in the big puppy house. Was crying with laughter and then to see the picture of the broom!! Well thought my sides would never recover.
Oh and i just want to make it clear that neither puppy had an ounce of mischief when they left this home!!!

GARDENERS WORLD WITH BORIS TITCHMARSH
Today we are helping this lovely family to tidy the garden for winter.
First find suitable footwear:
Then find a suitable helper who can shout "Mummy - poo bag!" at the top of their voices.
Then supervise as the family do the work. Finally make a few last minute tweaks and hey presto you have a classic boris garden:
BORIS FOR ALL YOUR LANDSCAPING NEEDS> (Demolitions available on request)

rofl - a bit avant-garde for me but interesting, very interesting...
I love the way he manages to look so innocent. How does he do that?
|

Yes the 'butter wouldnt melt look'. Luckily Im too busy laughing to get cross.
Boris is coming on in leaps (literally) and bounds. He was the only one not to complain about the three hour car journey to Milton Keynes at the weekend. He then managed to get a grumpy german shepherd to give up his bed!!
He has put on another kilo too and is definately VERY food reward based. (A bit like his owner....) Dee told me to use a whistle every time I feed him and its starting to work. Wish I could say the same about the toilet training though!
We are off to see Marco tomorrow and we are both booked onto the same puppy class so get ready for some Staffy mayhem!!

That poor trainer/class! Wish I could be a fly on the wall!
|
oliviae
|
I cant believe Boris has been here a month already! He is growing fast although as you can see from the pics, Marco is fast catching up!
Toilet training is going well. Well it is if your idea of toilet training is standing in a dark freezing garden at 1am in your PJ's whispering 'go wee' only to find that the cheeky monkey has gone back to bed leaving a little gift on the stairs......
Boris loves everyone and is quick to bound over to whoever he meets on his walk. He hasnt quite understood that this is not always appreciated!!
He has been with lots of other dogs, Max the shepherd, Marco and Bella and Honey. Bella completely hen pecked him during their play session and he looked so funny with it! Will try to take my camera next time, but as I have to visit them in the pub and it woulod be rude not to drink a glass of wine I cant guarantee the picture wont be blurry!
He has brought us all so much joy (even though he wants to eat the cat food, steal my slippers whilst Im wearing them, does the most disgusting farts, can open the stair gate and has a habit of weeing on clean clothes) and I have had so many people comment on how lovely he is and where I got him from. I hope in some small way it raises the RR profile.

Lovely shots of him. He looks very very happy so I'm sure the joy he has brought you is a result of his own happiness.
Love the photo of Boris and Marco looking at each other - they look like they're laughing!

Laughing, or just planning their next adventures, no doubt
Lovely photos and up dates

Went to visit Boris and Marco today.
OMG Boris is HUGE!! Can not believe just how much he has grown. But so much still the same ole Boris. Bull dozer Boris we should have called him!! LOL
Such a gorgeous guy and so wonderful of Olivia to invite John and I over and so lovely to see the boys playing.
They just did not stop. Could have watched for hours ......
Thank you also to Olivia for donations of gorgeous cushion bed for our lovely kennel dogs. Boris prefers the cat bed!! Or so Olivia says personally i think the black is too dark for him we all know he prefers pink!! LOL
Thank you guys for lovely, lovely visit xxxx

Dee it was an absolute pleasure! Please come again!
Boris now weighs 13kg!!! Bulldozer or Steam roller may be more appropriate...
Boris is great off lead and does do his training..... at home. At the class he spends the whole time trying to annoy his brother or bark at a retriever and I am relegated to hide behind the curtain whilst the others have their go as he puts them off!!
His new love is chasing the cats. And today managed to get himself shut in Hannahs bedroom. This is what I found....
I know I should be cross but its my Boris and I love him!! Although his career as a declutterer is severely in doubt.
|
xristine
|
Really Olivia, Hannah should tidy her own room. Asking Boris to do it isn't reasonable.
It sooo sweet that Boris and Marco still see each other and like being together!!
Thanks for updating - love hearing about him.
|
xristine

28lbs - geee!!! He's not little any more is he?

|
I say skilled pups ... gardening, housework .. what other wonderful attributes will they display!
|
Dee
|
Can not believe the lengths some people will go to when making excuses for not tidying!! LOL
I know for a fact Boris knows all about house work and helping and can not even for a minute believe that that innocent looking boy in the bottom picture in any way respsonsible for any mess (unless of course he had been asked to help in this way!!)
PMSL Olivia - can not help thinking that Boris may not be the declutterer that initial reports seem to have suggested.
Think possible may have to return to the bull dozer career path

Really funny Olivia!
I'm not sure why you can't forget me throwing that lead at you!! After all you will be finished at the hospital fracture clinic in a few months!!
You did forget one puppy wii fit though, it's called the COMMON DASH, slightly different from the sprint as it's main aim is to rescue some poor unsuspecting walker/jogger from the STAFFY PUPPY GREET, involving licks jumps and muddy paws. Timing is mostly affected by mud and running in wellies!

rofl - you four Olivia, Jane, Boris and Marco are a source of so much laughter and happiness.
Olivia - you brightened my day - I really don't understand why you and Boris have to stand behind the curtain though! Perhaps you're being groomed for the stage?!
